Steve and his crew revomed three big elm trees in two days for us. They did perfect job. They were professional, cautious, and polite. They gave us very reasonable price and very useful and helpful suggestions. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends. Good job guys!!!!!

Steve and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price. I really appreciate the care that was taken to protect my garden while this large tree was removed. Also, the stump grinding was so effective, that you can't even tell that the tree was there! Steve and his crew were polite and professional at all times, and took the time necessary to do the job right. Steve quoted us on the removal of a huge red oak tree and to remove the stump. The quote was fair. We proceeded and Steve's crew began the process with the city to have the tree removed.
The city approved the removal and soon after the guys came over to begin the removal.
It was a big job and despite the summer's heat and rain, a family of raccoons, and challenging physics, they got it down in due time.
I'm grateful that Steve and his team did the work. In retrospect, I don't think I would have trusted others to complete the work and not run into serious trouble.
The team is a real pleasure to work with, courteous, and professional.

Steve came by and returned an estimate very shortly afterwards. We agreed to the contract and they took care of the city permission details on our behalf. It was 3 days work but Steve and his crew were very professional and all were really courteous and careful, great guys! They also did an exceptional clean up even including stuff that they didn't do-thanks! Very good experience from start to finish and a great relief those things won't fall on my house. I would tell any friend that "You will be delighted to have these gentlemen work on your property and take care of your trees."

We found mcdonald tree services on homestars and decided to give the a try. we were highly concerneed about leaves, braches and residue falling onto the grass creating a huge mess. the company members came on time, and suggested bringing it down to the ground. i am very pleased with their service and would recommend those reading this review to look no further.

We employed this company to cut back a large branch of an old oak tree on our property. They were courteous & helpful & did very good work in a reasonable amount of time.

A couple of weeks ago, a neighbor pointed out that we had a really bad fungus growing in three of our cherry trees. We had Steve and his crew come out and quote us on the removal (trees could not be saved unfortunately) as well as some removal and maintenance of a couple of other trees. Steve was amazing, they did the job in one day and were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. They worked for 6 hours in the pouring rain, ground down all of our remaining stumps (while also replanting some plants that had to be moved for the removal). It looks as though no one was here (except for the newly trimmed and removed trees). Steve even put down plywood to protect the grass while the crew worked.

I don't often write reviews but my wife and I were so impressed that we felt it was necessary to share. I would very highly recommend this company for all of your tree care needs.

I contacted McDonald Forestry for a quote to remove a medium sized cedar tree in my backyard. Steve was very quick to respond to my inquiry and stopped by to do a quote within a day. I arranged to have the tree removed later that week they arrived at the scheduled time. I was impressed with how efficient and safely Steve and his crew worked. The tree was removed within 2 hours and my yard was left cleaner then it was when they started! The final cost was exactly as quoted. I would not hesitate to use their services again.
