Got Dust Duct Cleaning

This was the first time we cleaned the air ducts and dryer vent in our home, and I needed the ducts cleaned quickly as I am tiling the kids bathroom and am installing a vent cover that looks like it would be difficult to remove in the future. Based on the size of the home, Shane estimated about 4.5 hours, but our air return trunk system is complex and our dryer vent is approximately 40 feet long. Shane put in almost twice that amount of time to get the job done. He worked diligently all day navigating all the crap I had stored in the basement. He must have snaked and cleaned out our dryer vent 10 times from both sides. It had so much lint caught in it, we filled almost half a garbage bag. I made sure to give him a bit extra because he underquoted our job.

Shane is very personable and explained the entire process well. He made some good suggestions for the future including an inline booster fan to help aid the dryer across that long run.
