There are a number of issues with the install by LionScape. Their "warranty" is of no value if they don't come and fix the install properly. A number of photos have been taken and saved to validate the issues listed. They include:

- sinking or moving brick depending on area of install:
- a part of the install has buckled (and rises further in summer)
- a part of the install is sinking towards the foundation, causing draining issues as water flowing towards the home
- a part of the install is in waves, where brick installed at slightly different heights
- other parts of the install have sunk, with two of these sinking further with frost (causing a speed bump effect when driving over with car)
- some of the install is just plain crooked, misaligned with other brick
- water meter hammered down too far causing debris to be stuck in it
- a step installed off center, compared to remaining steps, is just awful to look at
- no drainage installed for two eaves-troughs causing brick to stain from rain water
- brick not installed to house edge, we have dealt with an animal digging between the brick and the home
- driveway damaged by their bin supplier, no wood placed under bin
- design agreed to not followed through completely

There have been disagreements in conversations about workmanship during and after install. So, there are doubts the issues will be resolved by LionScape.

I called Lionscape for an estimate on my retaining wall and curb work I needed done. They came the same week to do my quote. It was Very simple, professional, and seamless process from first signing to completion of work. I am very pleased I called Kris and Mike. Thank you so much guys I would highly recommend Lionscape for any interlock/landscape related work.

Had a great experience working with Lionscape contracting. They quickly came and provided us with a free estimate for our patio. They were professional/kind/up front and honest. We called Lionscape to add a custom patio to our backyard. Mike and his colleagues were very professional and incredibly helpful. If you live in Mississauga/GTA I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone else but Lionscape, they made the whole process easy and very seamless. Lionscape is definitely my new go-to when it comes to Custom patios, interlocking, landscaping etc. Thanks again for our beautiful new patio!

I hired this company to complete my driveway renovation. I wanted a new driveway with interlock and decided to call Lionscape. Their team came on site for a quote and gave me a start date. They showed up on time the work commenced and my driveways ways completed within 6 days! I was amazed at the quality and workmanship. I recommend this company for any of your interlocking or landscape. Great job Mike thank you!

Two guys Mike and Ken who visited me at the time of quote and all the chat happened with these two guys. They were supposed to finish the job by 3rd July 2019 but till the end of August 2019, there was no sign of starting the job. Every time when I called them they just say we are going to start in the next week but that week didn't come.

Finally, I cancelled the contract with them and now they are not returning the money. I have filled the complaint against them.

As per my experience, I will advise you to not to hire them.

******Update: Jan 2020******
Filed to BBB and Lionscape only agreed to return half of the deposit totaling $600 because they lose business due to my negative review to this company. " This company stated everywhere that the 10% deposit paid to reserve a date to start the job and this is non-refundable. However in fact, this company never have any intention to start. Therefore I paid for nothing. Next actions would be to report this incident to OPP and Service of Canada.

This company stated misleading statements to Eric's comment. Here are the fact of true statements:

1) "we had every intention to complete your job", in fact, this company have no contact to us after the deposit was made on April 22 2019. Company stated clear the start date around mid of June 2019 but never show up.
2) "we 100% would complete your job this season", in fact the contract signed to complete front and back with $12000 on April 22, 2019. On September 13 2019, after 7 times contact regarding the start date, they said they can only complete the front for $12000 and to complete front and back would be $17000. THIS COMPANY KEPT THE DEPOSIT, NO SHOW UP AND REQUEST MORE MONEY AFTER CONTRACT SIGNED.
3) "however we were always honest and communicated with you", in fact this company gave me the delay reasons are not true.
4) "Most importantly weather is out of our control and was a big factor to pushing the estimated start date. ", in fact this company no intention to start in 90 days after the estimated start date. According to the statistic 2019 raining date of Toronto, there is 41 raining days in the period of June 2019 to Sept 15 2019.
5) "We sincerely apologize" in fact, this company never apologize to me.
6) "One thing Lionscape guarantees is that from the start of your job to finish", in fact this company state clear on September 13 2019 which is 144 days after contract signed that they need more money to complete the whole job.
After 2 negative reviews, this company suddenly have many positive reviews, 2 of reviewers joined on 2019/09/15, 4 of reviewers joined on 2019/09/16

******Initial Comments******
I signed contract since April 2019 with $1200 to book the start date on 2nd week of June 2019 of my driveway extension and walkway. From beginning of June to end of July, I contacted them 7 times to confirm the start date but I got the following reasons of delay: 1) Poor weather, 2) too many jobs booked and need to start prior to mine, 3) need to complete southern city then to my northern area, 4) Kris had tooth surgery need time to recovery, 5) Kris need extended the recovery time and my job is the next one, 6) don’t know the date, 7) need time to review the contract. As of early of September 2019, no further contact to me and no intention to complete my job. They refused to give me back deposit and finally I filed a claim to this company. Good luck to their existing customers and anyone trying to contact them. All above fact proved by the texting screen shots.
