Dancon tackled a large job on our backyard as we have completely transformed this area into an elegant oasis by adding a fire pit, a playground area for our kids to play and a dinning (BBQ) area, perfect for summer entertainment. Our family uses the space a lot year around now and the quality of work done is phenomenal. The interlocking pavers are really good quality, non-slip and installed professionally as it should be. Very pleased with Denis’ work. He is a very busy guy, in high demand but once he scheduled the work for us, he got it done within a week’s time and left the site spotless.

Very satisfied with the work Dancon has done in our house. Great workmanship and meticulous attention to detail. We needed a new interlocking driveway and walkways at the front and back of the house leading to patio. Their work blends very well with the landscape around the house, the colour of stone and design. On the very first meeting, Denis came prepared with a catalogue  of paver choices, measured the sq.footage of the working space and provided us a few good options what to do and sketched a few design options. We were taken back by their professionalism, communication and ultimately their final work. Dancon offers 10 year warranty on the workmanship. It’s peace of mind. I have had the pleasure of working with Denis twice in two separate houses.

In 2010, Denis created a custom interlock patio and stairs in a newly built house in Vaughan for me. His work was impeccable, and he took his time. As a testament to his workmanship, even OTHER contractors on-site commented on how accurate and surgical his workmanship was. In the 4 years we lived there, not one stone moved even after the ice storm in 2014. That job cost us $9,000 and was worth every single penny.

In 2015, we had moved houses and I again called Denis for a larger job - I asked him to rip out our driveway, create new stairs leading our front entrance, create new stairs in our backyard, and lay stonework for the front, sides and rear of our house. In addition, he created a beautiful stone fire pit in the backyard. As Denis was doing all of this work, he levelled our front and backyard grass areas and resodded them because he saw that water was flowing towards our house instead of away from our house. As before, the workmanship and care was outstanding. In the last 3 years, again not one stone has moved. For this I paid $32,000, but by any other measure, this would have cost 1.5x more from another company with the same workmanship.

Denis is a thorough and skillful master of masonry. He is old school - he takes his time and he doesn't outsource the job to a bunch of people who are new at the skill. Denis has a small team - he often does most of the work himself and he views his work as art. It's important to him (perhaps even more so than for the homeowner) that it be perfect.

Of all the contractors and skilled people I have worked with over the years, I can honestly say that Denis is my absolute favourite.

We just had our driveway done with Dancon and are extremely happy with the job that Dancon did. The job was done on time and with perfection. I would recommend Dancon to all my family and friends that want to get interlockin done on their house.

I am extremely pleased with the work they did on two homes. Denis and his workers did interlock work and renovated my basement in my last home and then I had them assist with interlocking and redoing the basement in my second home as well. Denis is my go-to person when it comes to home renovations.

4 weeks to the grand opening of our restaurant on yonge st, we discovered our patio stone was in very rough shape. Called around and none was available. Denis came by that very same afternoon, priced it and gave us great availability. Within 5 days we had 4 guys digging it out to the base, replaced the brocken brick and releveled. This spring this team is doing our house too. :) very happy with the quality of work
