AJ Appliance Repair

This is my second time relying on Avi to repair an appliance. Both times he came through without a hitch. And he is affordable.

In this instance, my dryer started making a weird noise when drying a full looad of laundry. I called Avi. He asked me to send him the model number of my dryer along with a recording of the sound. He told me he could come as early as this Friday. Of course it's Good Friday, so he offered to come out next week too.

But I wanted my dryer fixed. So we agreed to get the work done on Good Friday. He showed up on time with the required part. He opened my dryer and showed me the problem. He explained why it made the noise. And he explained why I needed the new part. I asked him to do more work, for an unrelated reason and he offered me an all-in price that was very competitive.

He completed the work with no issues. My dryer dries with no noise. The dryer works great. My clothes feel dry. And I smell great. Okay, I guess you didn't need to know that.

It is refreshing to deal with honest, capable professionals

Great service... Called him and came same day to assess my fridge as it wasn't cooling. Very knowledgeable knew right away. Repaired with within 24 hrs at a very affordable cost. Recommend!

Very disappointed.....Avi arrived at my condo wearing a mask and gloves. You would think that this would be a good thing in this time of COVID, but with that glove, he touched the door handle to open the door into the building, then once in my unit, with the same glove he touched the light switch in my kitchen, touched the refrigerator, touched the kitchen counter, touched my water jug, touched my kitchen tap and touched his credit card machine which I had to touch.
It was clear during his second visit that my fridge was not going to be fixed. According to Avi my fridge was icing up because the drain hose was clogged and the water from the defrost cycle was backing up in the hose and then icing. Strange how all the water he poured down the drain came out at the bottom of the fridge.
When Avi put my fridge back together he did not attach all the wires. After an hour of running the fridge, it was not cooling off at all. Fortunately, I realized what he had done (I should say not done), and attached the wires.
No, I would not recommend this company.
I gave a score of 1 star only because he showed up.

We were very satisfied with our service from AJ Appliance. Avi is an honest, friendly, and knowledgeable repair person, and pleasantly was early (phone to make sure it was okay) for our appointment. I would highly recommend AJ Appliance and we are very glad to have found them.

AJ got the part for my stove faster than any other company could and installed it for less. I highly recommend this service for any all all appliance repairs.

I would recommend Avi in a heartbeat for any of your gas needs in the home! Awesome guy. We will definitely be calling him in the future for any and all gas and or gas appliance install/repairs! Top shelf service!

Dryer broke so called Avi after viewing reviews on Homestars. He arrived 20 minutes early wearing a mask and gloves. Repaired dryer and then looked at dishwasher which had been broken for awhile, fixed that too and I was very pleased with the service and many tips he gave me along the way. I would recommend him to anyone.

I am so fortunate that I came across a positive review from a community member when I was looking to contact a company to repair my fridge. Avi, the owner of AJ Appliance Repair, was very responsive in booking a time to come to look at my fridge. He was on time, followed all the Covid safety protocols, was personable and didn't leave a mess. He really took the.00 time to listen to the issue and trouble-shoot. I really appreciated hearing all the options and together we decided on how to address the issue. Avi is very honest, hard working, and reasonable. I will definitely use him for all my appliances. I highly recommend him!!!

The rubber boot on my front end washer got damaged and water was leaking at the bottom of the window. I got a replacement part on my own and was going to try and change it myself but don’t have time and was a bit apprehensive about doing it incorrectly, so I told Avi about it and he came over the next day and changed it in under an hour. He also gave me some maintenance tips and things to look for. He was punctual, took his shoes off, worn a mask, used sanitizer, explained what he did and the warranty to me. Highly recommend!

AJ came and fixed my fridge same day i called him. He happened to have the part i needed in his truck so it was fixed within an hour. Very nice and good customer service. I would highly recommend AJ for all your appliance repairs.
