I had problem with furnace last week and submit the request in the evening. It was amazing that Shawn
replied back within 10 mins and sent the best quote in one hour. They offered the best service and best price. All people are so professional in the organisation - Terry, Shawn and Umer. The best thing with Shawn is that he is best technical personal and service guy. He takes care of everything in professional manner. Best people in the business

One of the best experiences of communication with such of the vendors. not pushy, NO tied selling! around the clock easy communication, helpful advising, professional installers, and one of the cheapest. I was told told that I needed a new circuit board for my furnace. They quoted me $500 for the board and 2 hours of labor. I agreed as I though it was a very complicated job and had a 2 year old at home and couldn't go many days with a cold house.

When the repair man got here I saw the job that he did. It was a tiny circuit board that just required a few wires and he took no more than 20 mins to complete. Once I did some research I realized that the cost of the board was no more that $250 and the labor as mentioned was 20 mins. I talked with other companies and they said that this job in total should be around $500. I paid almost $900 all in.

I emailed this company back and their responses were either nil or significantly delayed. After a week of very slow back and forth they said that I signed off on it, and therefore they had no obligation to give anything back.

I trusted that this company would be fair, and now know that they completely took advantage of that. I don't care about the extra money I spent, but more so on the principle of how they handled this. I would never use them again and would encourage you to do your homework on your repairs to make sure that they don't gauge you as well. Extremely disappointed!

I also paid an additional $100 for the initial visit so your comment that the 2 hours include both visits is false. Had you given a proper explanation on the cost of everything I would have researched to see if it was true. We all need to make a profit, totally understand. What was most upsetting is your lack or response, and your simple comments that I signed off so I can't get anything back which took over a week for you to even say that. You're quick to respond when you want my business, quick to respond on my review, but brutal in maintaining your customer service once you have my money and are done with me.

Excellent company with great service. Shawn took all the time I needed to ask questions and learn about my options. He responded in a very timely manner and ensured I was a satisfied customer. Terry, the installer, was very professional, clean and tidy and did a thorough job! Both of them were very personable too. I highly recommend this company.

City Home Comfort was great throughout the entire process of getting my new furnace. Shawn initially came and explained what was wrong with my furnace (corroborated by other quotes), went through my house in detail to find issues with the heating, and gave me a transparent pricing. He knew I was getting quotes, but let me keep the details of the quote to show to other contractors. To test his trustworthiness, I mentioned that I was interested in two upgrades (I knew I only needed one of them, which was the less expensive of the two). He let me know that the second and more expensive one wasn't necessary for my home, which built a lot of trust.

The technician that installed the furnace was friendly, quick, and punctual. He was very open to questions about the furnace and other aspects of the install that I inquired about. Everything was done better than I expected, and the process went extremely smoothly.

Since moving into my house, I've had many contractors do work. I have trust issues with contractors in general because they are not usually open about pricing or they do shoddy jobs, but City Home Comfort was great!

They also offer 10 year parts and labour, which is phenomenal!

The furnace broke down. After phoning city home comfort they were on site within a few hours. A new furnace was up and running in about 24 hours.
I can highly recommend the service and professionalism of this company from the technical staff to customer service.

The work was very, very good and clean. I would like to recommend Shawn. He is the best from the company that we have.

Chris came to give us a quote. We reviewed it along with 3 other quotes and decided to go with Chris. On the first few days of work I arrived to see that he was connecting the new ductwork to the old ductwork when I discussed it with him he said that's what I agreed to in the contract. I thought this strange so I reviewed the contract to find out that his initial quote/contract was different than the contract I signed. He had changed the contract when he came back for the signing. Very sly!! He then told me that in order to have all new ductwork replaced with new I would have to pay extra! We argued and after some discussion he decided to install the new ductwork. His work was not well done. There were 2 workers Chris (different from the owner) & Jun. Their work was shoddy with screws that would not allow us to place the drywall against so we had to remove them all and put in flat head screws. That was very time consuming. They did not tape the seams in the ductwork which like removing all the round headed screws was very time consuming. They eventually sent a Jun who taped the remaining vents. Then the vents were placed incorrectly one behind a door which I had to call in someone else for fix that mess. Then there were the wall vents which were placed too low to put on the baseboards. That took 2 or 3 trips to repair all of that. Very disappointing. The job itself tooks months to finish as opposed to weeks. When the guys were here redoing things the owner would tell them hurry up and finish we have another job to do!! I just finished another house needless to say I did not call City Home Comfort for their services & nor will I in the future. I would not recommend this company.

Simply great service! It's so good when you find a company that consistently deliver in all aspects.

Needed a new furnace and after talking to a couple of local companies by phone, I was researching models and filled in my info for a local quote. Within a minute I got a phone call from CHC who offered to send someone around to assess. It was 7pm and when I asked if it was possible that evening, I got a call back saying that someone could be there by 9pm.

Shawn attended from CHC. Very friendly and professional. Looked at hydro and gas bills and assessed potential savings/opportunities. Explained available rebate process and connected me for the initial audit. While I got two separate callbacks from other companies and their reps attended, Shawn stood out in terms of expertise.

After some follow up questions with Shawn, decided on a Amana modulating furnace and this was installed two days later by Chris and a fellow worker. Existing ecoBee thermostat was utilised. Install, clean up and explanation was great.

Definitely recommend CHC for a new furance or any existing maintenance or repairs.
