We moved into our home a little over a year ago and the concrete walkway, backyard patio and front steps were in horrible condition. We had multiple contractors come see the job and after meeting Dominic, it was clear to us that Domar group was the right team for our job. I experienced many years of problems with a wet basement. I bought the house 10 years ago and within my 1st year I had problems with water coming into my basement. I had it “fixed” twice before I met Dom and his group of professionals. I felt I had been taken by other “professionals” that claimed they would fix the problem. But that wasn’t they way it worked out. After many quotes and interviews with contractors, I was lucky to find Dominic. I instantly felt comfortable with him. I felt he listened, heard my concerns and worked to make sure I felt comfortable and got to the root of the problem. I am happy to say that I have been water free for the last 3 years. And Dominic and I still keep in touch. He’s a good person.

When the unfinished, damp basement in my 90 year old Toronto home developed serious water issues (including water coming up through the thin concrete floor), I was faced with the challenge of finding a solution before the situation became worse. I contacted a number of companies to assess the situation and listened to what each had to suggest re: what needed to be done and the associated costs. Right from the initial meeting, I was impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful Dominic (owner) was. He offered clear options and discussed the pros and cons of several solutions. After careful consideration, I chose to work with Stay Dry Waterproofing and I was not disappointed. During the work (which included underpinning, benching, sump pump and backwater valve installation, as well as pouring a new concrete floor and new walkout steps), he was readily available to address questions/concerns and on site to oversee all key stages of the job. Since the work to rectify my water issues and improve the structure of my basement were completed I have had no issues and am very pleased with the results. I no longer worry what will happen when it rains nor do I dread going down to the basement! Thank you Dominic!

Some years ago, I had asked Dominic that I wished to write a review for his company, but he held me off; he promised me that when the time came, I could be the first to post. That time has now come, and I am happy to write this review. Our relationship extends many years back, too many to count. Starting with waterproofing, his service for me extended to pouring concrete, laying interlocking stone, re-laying and redoing my front stone porch, building a composite wood rear deck, rebuilding of my stone front planters and brick chimney, as well as repairing the interlock on my driveway, installing a backwater valve, and cleanouts in my front lawn that go over nine feet deep. What can I say except 10, 10 10? His
employees are courteous, and professional; they maintain their work schedules while delivering a quality job every single time. When I do have concerns, I can reach Dominic 24/7. He always said that he "sleeps with the phone beside his ear" so that he can deal with problems quickly if they arise. When he was a partner with his friend Aries and the first jobs were completed for me, I developed confidence in the company. When Aries passed on, Dominic continued the company as Domar. I was very pleased that the warranty on my waterproofing would also continue. Now, as he continues with his sons into the third generation after 32 years in the business, I am pleased to continue my relationship with
Domar and the Manno family. I highly recommend Domar Group for a high quality, fairly priced and trustworthy job.
