Jason saved me from buying a new dishwasher. He is amazing, very friendly and he knows what he is doing.

His rate was $60 service call + $10 per 10 minutes of labour (he now charges $15/15). At the time he came out, the microwave was working, and charged 20 minutes of labour - total came to $80 + tax. I questioned why he charged for 20 minutes of labour while he was only there for 5 minutes, and he mentioned he counts the time it takes for him to travel from his car to the unit, and back which is a very odd practice and isn't "labour". Regardless, I paid him.

Unfortunately, it stopped working the next day and I indicated that just because something is working at the time, is not sufficient enough to say there is nothing wrong with it. He mentioned he will come back, and will only charge for parts & labour. After coming out, he mentioned all 3 switches on the door should be replaced as that is causing the issue, and that he would need to get the parts and come back to install it. He later on did, but also charged me $30 for a return trip charge

So, overall, he fixed it, but charged unfairly, as I shouldn't have had to pay for his first visit since he didn't assess the problem correctly. I did notice he has now updated his site to reflect the extra $30 return fee if it's needed to install parts.

Have been using Local Pro Appliance for any of our appliance needs for the past few years. Most recently, a new dishwasher installed back in 2019 and today had our oven issue fixed. A quick chat about the symptoms of the oven not (pre)heating and the igniter was deemed to be at fault. Had the part with him and was in and out in 20 minutes and we now have an oven that now heats up!

What should of been a simple dryer installation by a professional. Turned out to be anything but.

Prior to this LP (Local Pro) coming to our home, it was made clear the service we expected and wanted.

A new dryer coil was to installed, as it was made clear there had been condensation issues with the old coil and with a new dryer coming we wanted the new coil.

LP lifted the coil glanced inside and said it was fine. I said we wanted the new coil again was told it was fine.

There was no diagnostic check done by LP after installation.

Later that day when we went to use the dryer it gave off 90% blockage error.

I reached out to LP and informed them of the issue.

LP reply was as follows: Because it was a vent issue and not an installation issue. And proceeded to inform me of the cost to have him come back out.

I mentioned to LP if the new coil was installed as we wanted this would of been avoided.

Since we where already financially invested in this service we decided to have them come out again.

Today I went down to do laundry I could feel a lot of heat coming from the dryer and blowing from the back. Come to find the coil was not connected properly to the dryer and was dangling.

I reached out to LP and Informed them of the issue along with a video showing it was not connected.

Yes LP offered to come out at no fee to correct.

However at this point, I decided no more.

I'd had 2 appliances dropped off by a big box store, and arranged for Jason to later install both. He was on time, got right to it, and finished efficiently. Would definitely recommend, and would call Jason again if I need installation or repair.

My dryer was making a really loud screeching sound when running. I sent Jason an email with a description of the problem, dryer model number and a video of the noise it was making. He got back to me right away with a potential diagnosis and quote for the part. Once the part was in, he was here the next day to install it. Happy to report my dryer now runs quietly and doesn't wake the baby up any more.

Jason responded in a very timely manner and explained that my dryer not heating could be a fuse or the heater. With my model info he made sure to have parts with him to get the job done when he came out for our appointment. Jason was on time, professional and friendly. He cleaned everything as he said he would and installed a new heater, adjusted our pipe to the exterior and offered maintenance tips and suggestions. Jason got the job done and my dryer working with a fair cost. He delivered just as his card says: Fast, Fair, Friendly. I will be recommending Jason to my friends, family and clients. Thank you!

Jason visited my house to repair both my gas stove and my dryer. He was thorough in reviewing the issue to ensure he understood and could provide me with an accurate fix for my issues. He provided options and gave opinion, based on past experience. I would definitely recommend Jason to family and friends, and will use him again should the need arise.

Jason is an excellent appliance repair person. He was our repair person when we had Sears and continues to service all of our appliances to date. He services our front load washer and dryer regularly, and serviced our Maytag dishwasher helping it last for 11 years until the control panel went. He then recommended the best quality make for us to buy our new one and he installed it quickly and easily. With new hoses and parts the cost was $100. So happy to have his expertise for our appliances. We recommend him highly he will do a great job at a reasonable price.

Jason installed my dishwasher twice. He also repairs my LG laundry pair a few times. My side by side fridge/freezer is working again after he fixed freezer. He also replaced water filter (water drink in fridge). He is very good reliable!
