Murray Landscaping

This was the worst experience with a service provider I have ever experienced. Paid Alec thousands of dollars and he did not fix the grading problem in my backyard. He didn't even do the main job required under the contract (remove river rocks from under our raised deck, regrade, put the rocks back). He literally text me and said "I reread the contract....what I meant was ... [something completely different]".

Alec also ghosted me when I raised concerns. He stopped replying and never once addressed my concern about the grade.

Murray Landscaping actually made the situation worse. I had to pay someone else to fix it.

Do not recommend. Avoid this company.

We contact Murray Landscaping for a quote to put a paver edging on both sides of our driveway and to redo the front step area of our home. We selected them from the reviews on Homestars and we were not disappointed. From the first contact we had professional and customer oriented experience with them.

They took the time to come out to explain their work, asked us a lot of questions, had sample pavers for us to look and made some suggestions on things that we had not thought about. They were on the higher side of the quotes, but when asked they explained why they were higher and the quality of the work definitely shows.

The crew was very professional and efficient. We had several neighbours who commented on how professional and clean they were while working on our project.

We would hire them again in a heartbeat for any other project we have. They came in on budget and within their timeline. There was one little mistake on the project that they remedied without any issues when we brought it to their attention.

Thanks again to Murray Landscaping and his team for a fantastic job from design to installation. They were extremely friendly and easy going the entire process which made for a smooth operation. I find myself enjoying my new patio and fire pit every chance I get now!

Prompted by their excellent online reviews, we decided to hire Murray Landscaping to install a brand new interlock patio and asphalt driveway. We were highly pleased with the final results and particularly with the care, dedication and attention to detail that Murray’s team of experienced workers demonstrated. They were very patient and tolerant of our often-changing requirements throughout the construction process! We always felt very comfortable talking with the workers and they were always courteous, polite and helpful. They clearly had great pride in their work and they never cut corners in order to save on materials or to finish up early.

We had our old driveway excavated, interlock path removed and excavated, and front steps removed. We had new front steps installed, a retaining wall, path, and paved driveway with interlock border. The team did a thorough and high quality job and the owner follows up to ensure that all imperfections are resolved.
