Branders Pool Service

Our experience with Branders for our pool opening was extremely disappointing. They simply lifted the cover without treating the water or checking chlorine levels and settings. They didn't even notice our filter was missing, which we had removed as instructed for winter maintenance. When we complained about our dirty pool, they returned but only recommended buying $40 of chlorine separately, which didn't help. After two weeks of ineffective treatment and additional expenses, they finally discovered the filter was missing during an inspection they reluctantly performed after an extra 2 weeks of pressing the owner, Raj. Despite paying $500 for a full pool opening, they blamed us for not following UNSPECIFIED instructions. This lack of basic service and accountability as well as extremely poor customer service led us to spend over $200 extra on futile treatments and my kids waiting for almost a month and a half after the pool opened just to swim.

We are now looking for a new pool service and do not recommend Branders.

If an option for 0 stars was available we would not hesitate.

Very tiring to reach anyone from this company and get a call back. They want to secure money upfront and dont follow up on requests. Ive called about a charge on the cleaning of my pool filters. I live 5 minutes away and they charged me $50.85 to drop off the cleaned filters and supposedly install them back to my home! I even told them time and time again this year (2023 we learned the hard way last year with them) they we are going to pick up the filters ourselves and to not have anyone deliver them - we store them in Mississauga and not at our home- 3 times I communicated this to a staff member who didnt give me her correct name. The owner was supposedly unaware of any of this and sent me a bill today including this drop off and install. We sent the filters back to their shop when they tried to deliver them to us by Sajit- my husband ended up picking them up and was told they would remove the charge. Didnt happen! Ive just had enough and they dont even call you back to discuss issues! A company is only as good as when there are problems to be resolved.

I have used Branders for several years and their service is absolutely excellent. They are highly skilled and professional.
I would highly recommend!!

I didn't have this company install my pool but for the last 3 years I have had them doing open, close and maintenance as required. They have been great, Raj is very responsive and helpful. I have had a good experience dealing with them.

ALL POOL GUYS ARE EXTRA BUSY IN MAY AND JUNE...AND THEY MAY FALL BEHIND a day or 2....
BUT RAJ AND HIS TEAM GETS IT DONE...IT COMES DOWN TO TRUSTING THE FIRM...WE HAVE BEEN WITH THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS AFTER A FEW YEARS WITH A COUPLE OF OTHERS WHO DID NOT MEASURE UP.
HE IS ALSO AS COMPETITIVE AS ANYONE...I KNOW, 'CAUSE I CHECK ALL THE TIME.
