The movers Nir and Amed worked very hard throughout the whole move. They were careful with all pieces of furniture and they were courteous and respectful of the people and their home.
We are not pleased with the company on many accounts.
1. Calling us at 4 pm the day before the move and asking if I could change my move time to the morning from initial 3 pm appointment is adding so much
stress to what is already a stressful situation with a move is unnecessary. And then calling back asking if I can move it to 6 pm.
2. Overall the move was very expensive!!! Even
though I thought I had started with a good deal from Groupon. My parents did a move only a year ago and
it cost $1,700 but they had 3-4 times the amount of stuff. They have way more furniture than I do and
they had a lot of boxes. My move had no boxes as we moved the boxes the day before.
3. When I booked the appointment for 3 pm, although they told me the arrival time will be between 3 and 4 pm, you expect most likely the arrival would be 3:30 but the arrival was 4 pm. If I knew this would have booked for 2 pm. Never dealt with a moving company that has an hour window for arrival time. All other movers I’ve dealt with arrive at a time that you book. One hour on move day is a big deal. Especially with call I had day before to change the time, we really thought they were not going to show up till 5 or 6 pm.
I sure hope it is not the case that because I could not change my start time and James took it as I was being unreasonable that movers are told to rack up the hours. I hope it is not your company practice to rack up hours so that all your moves are minimum 7 hours. I really believe my move should have been done in 3 to 5 hours.
Overall I would not use Power Moving again and I
would not recommend them to anyone.

I want to reply to the points you mentioned above:
1. Yes, we do called you to ask if you are flexible with the moving time, as we have many customers that need our help especially at the end of the month and we are trying to help as much as we can. also I need to mention, that you refuse to change your move time and this is absolutely fine. I also discussed with you on the phone and I told you that if you can't be flexible with the moving time, you don't need to be worry and we will work out on another way to help the other customer.
2. Moving isn't easy job. there's companies that will charge less, but the workers aren't trained and this will cost even more when your items will be broke. our rate for 2 or 3 movers are really fair compare to another profesional moving companies and I'll appreciate if you'll take some time to check it.
You also mentioned that you didn't had boxes, but the boxes it's the fastest thing to move as they not required any blanket covering, assembling or any special handling.
About the furniture you had in the house, you moved from 3 bedroom house (only 1 room had furniture), but you still had a lot of furniture including the basement and including appliances.
As we discussed at the phone a day prior to your move, I recommend you to go with 3 movers and I mentioned the move may take between 5-7 hours. You disagree with me and say the move will take 2-3 hours. The fact is, that we sent you a 30ft truck and the truck was more than half full. We do have pictures of the truck bin loaded and your items fully covered with our moving blankets and we will be happy to provide you with that if you like us to send them to you as a proof3. Your move was scheduled between 3-4pm, not between 3-3:30pm. The movers arrived at 4pm so they arrived on time.
I personally advised you a day before, to start the move earlier and you refused by saying that even if the movers will arrive at 4pm, you are still believe it'll take no more than 2 hours to move you out.
Most of the moving companies have an hour window, especially when the move is scheduled for afternoon, as the truck already working before the movers arrived to your house. You are also called us a few times during the day and we informed you that the movers will arrive to your house on time and you don't need to get worriedBefore your move start, the movers also advised you to check with the office if the can send a 3rd guy to help it go faster, but again you refused by saying you don't need and you and your friends will help the movers to cover the furniture with blankets (something that didn't happened). After the truck bin loaded, you asked to have the 3rd move and we sent you another mover (by Uber. We took the cost on our company, without even to charge you any extra for that) just to keep you happy and satisfied.
The movers mentioned, that you came to them and said that you are very impressed by they work, that they're working hard and they're very good. You also were very happy and gave them a very generous tip as I believe you appreciate they hard work.
At the bottom line, you received a very good service from us, the movers was amazing according to you, they came on time, there's no damages to your furniture or to the house walls and this is the most important thing of the move
