We move in a house which was built in 1958 last fall. We was told by our home inspector the roof needed to be replaced this year. Also there were poor insulation and roof ventilation in the attic. Since last December after extensive reading of the reviews of HomeStars , I got Three Quotes from roofing companies. The people whom I met were all very courteous.
I was more concerned about roof ventilation, uncertain if the soffit vents were dysfunctional. Jason was willing to make a second trip to my home to check my attic. Jason is very pleasant , approachable and knowledgeable about roof structures. He is also a great communicator both verbally and writing by e-mails. I emailed him frequently to ask what types of the roof materials that he planned to use. He always replied to me promptly -- This was a total surprise to me. He enthusiasm helped me to make my final decision -- to award the project to him.
The project was planned for the Spring . It was delayed to July due to Pandemic and physical distancing . During recent few days of heatwave, The upper level of our home was like an oven, so e-mailed Jason to see if he could do the project earlier . He did and completed the roof replacement last week. His crew under the team leader Sisco were working very hard. They also replaced the old box roof vents with ridge vents, removed old flushing and checked the gutters...etc.. What surprised me was the bathroom exhausted pipe was not connected to the roof vent. Sisco made it right for us.
I am so happy that I ignored a nasty review of Toro and make the right decision to hire them to do a thorough work on my roof . Now I can relax by knowing my roof is well taken care of.
I strongly recommend Toro Roofing Inc.
