Holy Cow! My garage door was not responding. The light kept blinking on and off. We are remodeling and my contractor couldn't even figure it out. I called Fix It Right and Sahar sent John over. He saw that a pipe was running over one of the sensor wires causing the sensor to shut off. He fixed it in minutes and ONLY CHARGED ME FOR SERVICE CALL! if I ever need a garage door opener replaced, they get my business hands down!

Shawn and his helper, Ben, were able to visit me on the same day as I made an inquiry to inspect my intermittent door opener. Shawn spent 45 minutes checking all operating parts, and found some corroded connectors in the circuit boards, and suggested replacing the 20 yr old Genie with a Liftmaster or Chamberlain door opener. He offered a reasonable price to replace the existing unit with the Chamberlain B750 door opener which I picked up at Home Depot on sale. Highly recommend Shawn for excellent garage door service at reasonable cost and friendly and fair service. Thanks for the quick Response.

I initially contacted them through Homestars for an estimate. My garage door would not close between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm...hilarious to consider a garage door gone on strike, until you realize how much that affects your ability to come and go. Anyway, Zack called me the same day, and instead of charging me hundreds of dollars to come out to perform the simplest fix, he instructed me how to do it in the messages.

I got a problem opening the garage door when one of the cables (on the sides) snapped. I called Sahar on Friday and he showed up on Saturday afternoon. The problem was that the part holding cables became rusty and Sahar after inspection quickly identified it and found also some others. He replaced both cables and also brackets and some wheels. Even though the additional work had been done and more parts were used it did not cost me an arm and leg.
Work was done professionally and fast. And since then everything works just fine. I also got some tips about the right maintenance of the garage door.
