Gl Contractors

I hired GL Contractors to enclose a big part of my basement ceiling that had been left open for years. For me there were two objectives:
1. fire separation &
2. sound insulation.

The contractor had to achieve this while dealing with a very challenging mess of ducts, electrical wiring, gas and water pipes in a 100+ year old house.

Using Firecode X 5/8" drywall and the double layer of Roxul requested, the contractor did a fantastic job. He met the challenges with thoughtful - occasionally outside the box - solutions that complied with my need for results that were both attractive and very, very sound. I found the contractor, & the workers he brought in, to be friendly, respectful, diligent, capable and honest.

He listened carefully to my wants and did his best satisfy them in the real world! He always arrived on time & stayed exclusively focused on my job until it was finished. And it was finished, ON SPEC (totally meeting my two objectives) & ON SCHEDULE.

Best of all, he tidied and swept up at the end of every work day.

About three years ago my wife and I decided to finish our walkout basement. This basement wasn't quite standard. And, it had 12-14' sealing. First, we wanted to save this sealing height. Second, we wanted to organize a pretty spacy and nice-looking bathroom and kitchen area. Also, we were thinking about open concept approach with optimal zoning. Right lightning and electrical stuff was also very important.
We were looking for contractor for about 3-4 weeks. And, finally, we decided to go with “GL Contractors” team. Terms and price were exactly what we kept in mind.
These guys were very professional, friendly and nice. We discussed all the details and created a rough project.
And, they started to work in a couple of days. The whole process was very well organized from the very beginning. No delays, no dust, no shortage in materials and tools. Also, we discussed and changed our project 3-4 times on the fly without increasing budget.
So, finally, we got our basement done on time with perfect quality. Even more, we got three nice huge niches with spot lights. This was possible thanks to their smart advises.
After that, we just put some furniture, blinds and decoration stuff. And now we enjoy not a basement anymore but nice looking, worm and comfortable and relaxing space.
So, I would recommend “GL Contractors” team to my friends and other people who haven’t decided yet who they want to go with to finish their next home project.

I engaged GL contractors a couple of months ago to do a reno on my condo and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
