Google David; before doing anything.. He ran away with $18,000; NOT Recommended

First contacted David Jul 10, he came the same eve, we wanted Kitchen reno work (no cabinets), he gave quote of 6750, 3 week contract. Day one demo person came did half work left as he would not take out bottom cabinets, then David convinced him and at end of week 1 tile removal was done (total time spent 8-10 hrs). Around this time he convinced us he has better deal for cabinets and carpenter so we agreed to give him full contract of $32,000, and he wanted 50% advance before doing anything. We trusted him and gave 55% ($18,000) advance. Week 3 called him 50+ time he answers maybe 5 calls. most week he was missing not reachable, but by the end he got us an electrician to do spot lights with an excuse someone in family died and of week 3 called him 70+ times and he answered maybe 5 calls, we got spot light fixed (time spent 16hrs). Week 4 Tiles were laid.

By this time nothing on cabinets of living room, all over the kitchen live wires hanging, and so was kitchen. and he was nowhere to be found.

overall called him 200+ times, it has been 14 weeks now, We had to hire other people to close holes left by electrician, and close Live hanging wires.

Beware of David , he was nice before i gave him money to start the job . Am not satisfied with his job .The exhaust fan he installed in the washroom was extremely noisy, he came to checked it and agreed that it is extremely noisy ,he agreed to change it but i have to pay him another $160 then i told him that i will buy the exhaust fan myself because it is way cheaper than the price he is giving me .
