Alair Homes Renfrew offered me the benefits of unmatched expertise and unparalleled commitment to integrity, transparency and value. Then they confessed that “they dropped the ball”. The schedule slipped four months and neither the business owners or the project manager let me know. The estimated budget was incomplete and over what they knew was my budget. Alair charges 24.9% on top of all costs for the certainty of outcome. Their promise is that you will know every detailed cost, have the freedom to choose all selections and decide on who will carry out every function of your project before it ever starts. I was not consulted on the Statements of Work that went out to contractors for quotes and as a result the quotes were vague, general and inflated. What did I get from Alair Homes Renfrew? I have a house plan that is not ready to be approved by an engineer. I have a survey that is a duplicate of the one I already had. For this they want $14,330. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone use this company.
