A.V. Style Stretch Ceilings & Wall Systems

I bought my condo townhome this summer and one of the first things I noticed was the popcorn ceiling and lack of lighting once it got dark. It's a concrete slab, so recessed lights were out of the question...or so I thought.

AV Style offered the MOST PERFECT solution--covering the heinous popcorn, and giving me light where I needed it in my downstairs living space by installing a membrane that dropped the ceiling less than 2 inches.

Viktor came out to take some measurements and walk me through the options, and told me what to expect with respect to what my condo board may ask for before approving the project.

He was right on every count. After delivering me a quote and design option I loved, he and Khrystyna helped provide me with all the information my condo board needed (on multiple occasions, even corresponding with management directly to help save me time), and after a few months, I got the approval and work began.

The crew was amazing when they showed up to work, arriving on time and finishing ahead of schedule. Some of my furniture needed to be moved and a fairly large painting taken off its hooks, which was fine, I figured I'd re-arrange once the work was done. I had to take a meeting as they were wrapping up, so my partner thanked them on my behalf, and when I came downstairs to see, everything was IMMACULATE and exactly as I'd had it before it was moved. Nothing dinged, no dirt anywhere (and I'd notice, because right in the centre of my room is a white linen sofa on an ivory area rug). They were even able to install lights in the drop ceiling of my kitchen to give me proper lighting there as well!

I could go on and on and on about how amazing this experience was (even when I accidentally overpaid, Khrystyna confirmed and re-wired me the money the same day--just another example of how everyone there treats you like a partner in the project, not just another item on the to-do list), but you just have to try them for yourselves. I am so beyond thrilled and excited to have my refreshed ceiling and lighting done, and when the time comes for me to do my upstairs ceilings, you can bet I'll be AV Style again!
