They were quite accommodating about the date to come by and take measurements for a quote. They discussed options with us to replace an old garage door. They clearly explained the options, answered all of our questions, told us how long it would take, and provided us with a very fair estimate.

They called us when the door was ready to set a date to install it and arrived on time. The door was tricky to install as it is a small garage but they got the job done.

My wife and I decided our 16' x 8' wood garage door needed to be replaced. We've contacted 6 vendors. Some seemed to contract out their work while others have in-house installers. We definitely wanted in-house installers. We ended up choosing Scarboro Garage Doors for our new garage door. Our experience has been nothing less than excellent. From the sales to the aluminum trimming installation, Matt and Ryan were very informative, patient, and professional. We gave Matt the style we wanted and he was able to give us our door options and a quote that was very competitive with the other vendors. Ryan, the installer, was very clean with his work. They also recommended Robert, whom they normally work with to install the aluminum trimming. The garage door and aluminum trimming came out great. Each time i see the garage door, I kee saying to myself what a great job they did. I will definitely recommend Scaroboro Garage Doors to those who ask.

Ryan was courteous, professional, and he did an amazing job. It took him longer than expected to replace our garage door but he was patient and didn’t rush, making sure that the job was done perfectly. We didn’t get a quotation from another garage door company for comparison, but we would say we paid a very reaonable price for a quality job.

Worked with Ryan on getting our old garage door replaced. Ryan came out the same day I called for a quote, reviewed options and was able to help get the door in earlier so we could get it installed within 2 weeks. On the day of the installation Ryan came exactly on time and did a great job on all aspects of the job. I would highly recommend Ryan and team for your garage door project.

Let me just start by saying that the customer service was excellent, as was the work done!

I was looking for a garage door opener replacement and after receiving great advice and a quote from Chris, Ryan came to do the job. He realized right away that he wouldn't be able to do the job, because there was no plug, the opener was hardwired into the ceiling. Electrician wouldn't put in plug because he wouldn't take the garage opener down. Longer story short, Ryan came not once, not twice, but three times to finish the job and was always accommodating, prompt and professional. He didn't charge me for the trips which I'm sure most companies would.

Thank you Ryan, for making a somewhat problematic start to a job so much less stressful!

I would definitely say if you're looking to get a new garage door opener, call Ryan. I have a neighbor who I know is thinking about getting a new opener, and I will be giving him Scarboro Garage Door's number.

This is weeks in the coming, but with 2yr old twins running around, it's hard to get anything done. I chose this company based on the high recommendations on HomeStars. Ryan and Matt and Scarboro Garage Doors was recommended to me by Markham Garage Doors, as they are a subsidiary of them. Ryan came and gave me a quote for a brand new door and garage door opener. His quote was $300 less then another competitor had quoted me. I signed off on the contract and was told that it would take 4 weeks for the install to happen, as their manufacturer took this long to supply them with the door. By the third week, I called to check on the status of my door/install and was told by Matt that it still hadn't come in. The forth week passed and no call or install. I called the following week to only find out that the door wasn't shipped and they did not know when it would be coming in. They did NOT communicate that information to me prior to my phone call to them. I decided to cancel the service at this point as there was no timeline given or guarantee when it would arrive. The owner of Markham Garage Doors, Chris, then called and to his credit, owned the problem and fixed the issue within a timely manner (I was very impressed with Chris' integrity to stand by his company and fix it, whereas other companies perhaps would not have because this was the manufacture's fault). Ryan came and installed the door (he did a really good job and was really good with my elderly dad). My only concern with this company is a lack of communication. The company knew in advance that the door was not going to be shipped from the manufacturer on time. A phone call and a solution presented at the time of knowing about the problem would have been appreciated rather then being left in the dark and having to call to find this out after the fact.

I talked to Matt about replacing the weather strip on the bottom of my two 15 year old garage doors. I happened to mention that the trim around the windows had faded so much that they were almost white. This was an issue that the original installation company (one of their competitors) had refused to deal with. We found out that this was a known issue, and the manufacturer would provide new windows under warranty. Matt and Ryan came and replaced the windows quickly, despite some challenges from what appeared to be an improper installation when the doors were installed. We are very happy with their courteous and professional service. We had given up on having the faded windows replace years ago. The doors look brand new again! Thank you Matt and Ryan!
