There were some miscommunication in terms of service after installation. However, Victor came in and fix the issue after a few months, which is understandable. Just appreciate that he did it during the COVID pandemic. Thanks
No service after installation
I had my camera installed about 2 yrs ago. About a year later, I changed my cell phone and I asked Victor to help me retrieve the password for my nvr. He said he would charge me $60/hr and 2hr minimum for the service. I said, no problem, send me the service man asap. At the time, we also had some burnout issues with the night vision after 6 months of use, and he told me it was just dirt on the dorm. I thought I could have him fix both issues at once.
I sent him multiple emails and voicemails since Jan 2020, and have my receptionist contact him to arrange the visit as well. He rarely responded back, but when he did: he says 1) he doesn't do residential sites these days, and doesn't want to send a guy to our home for COVID reason. The issue started way before COVID!! 2) he would contact us in a couple of weeks to schedule, but no response for more than 2 months 3) it would be easier to contact the manufacturer directly, and they would help fix the issue remotely (through teamviewer software). When I contacted "CCTV direct" (manufacturer), they said they don't provide the service to the end customer.
In the meantime, my next door neighbor had a break in, and asked me to show them the record, but I couldn't access it.
I gave him 1 point in satisfaction because at least I got 6 months out of the equipment, plus the camera looks good and prevent the thieve s out of the property.

I got an response from Victor after the review. I understand that COVID makes things very complicated, and I appreciate that he is trying to correct the issue. Will see if he keeps his promise and shows up on next week.
