****Use caution when considering this company**** We had used this company, Webber Roofing, on a previous property. Glenn, (Webber Roofing) presented himself as an expert and appeared honest and trustworthy. We assumed that the roof was completed properly as the property was sold soon after. As such, on October 2020 we called Glenn as the roof on our house was nearing its lifecycle. We also asked Glenn to inspect the roof and to advise of any concerns and/or potential issues as it was an older home. I completed a review and recommended this company soon after the new roof was completed. Four months later, February 2021, water starting leaking into the house . This had never happened before. We called Glenn from Webber Roofing. He visited and said the water was coming in from the Soffit, as the Soffit was not perforated thus not allowing for the water to seep out. We believed him. We waited until the weather permitted, and called several professionals with regards to the soffit. None confirmed that the soffit was the cause. We advised Glenn of this. We then called several reputable roofing companies. Each company advised us that the work completed by Webber Roofing was not completed properly. They also sent us a multitude of pictures. They all stated that wrong materials were used in many instances. The inspection by Webber Roofing prior to completing the roof was poor and owner was not notified of issues (i.e., plywood needed replacing, etc.). Pictures sent to us by these roofing professionals, showed that the flashing was not done in many areas, shingles too short in many areas, nails popping out, substrate damaged, iced shield not competed to code, rotten wood underneath new shingles, etc. etc. We notified Glenn (Webber Roofing) and also sent him all the pictures obtained from these professionals. We invited him to come and look for himself. The reply was that he would come and put more silicone when the weather was colder and that there was nothing wrong with the roof and that these professionals were not being as honest as he was. We asked him to replace the roof as recommended. We would pay for any rotted wood that should have been replaced at time when he did the new roof. Any minor repairs would only be a short-term band aid solution, and that the roof issues were beyond additional silicone. We told him that we were looking for an amicable resolution. To date we have not received a response. We are now forced to hire a new company and pay for a new roof less than a year later, and additionally pay to correct any damage that was caused. This company does not stand behind its workmanship and it appears that the quality of work is sub standard.
