Canada Select Windows - Out of Business

The installers were to be there between 9 and 10 for the installation, they didn't show up until 130. Nobody called to tell me they were going to be late. I had to call to inquire when they would show up. Then when they did, they brought the wrong windows. I had to take a day off work for essentially nothing.

A new installation date was booked on the Canada day weekend which disrupted my long weekend plans. The team broke one of the windows which needed to be replaced and scheduled a third installation date.

On the third date I had to take another morning off of work.

The old windows that were taken out were set on the lawn and burned the grass.

The trim that was installed was done poorly. I had to replace one piece myself.

I understand that mistakes happen. I felt it was unprofessional of Canada Select to leave a customer waiting. I shouldn't of had to call and chase down the installers. Someone should have called me the night before to tell me of the adjusted time and I could have at least gone to work in the morning. After all of that and the hassle, I was given a very poor discount of $50 which hardly even covered the cost and my time to replace the trim on one of the windows.

The installer was professional and courteous. I was pleased with the work. The only negative was the lead time. the product was put on back order and I wasn't notified. Also the company put the time of the installation at 10.00 am, but due to the back order it didn't show up until 2.30 p.m. This was frustrating. As I told the company, it would have been good to let me know about this. After discussion, the company did show good customer service, listened with respect to my complaints and gave me the handle and the bell.

Thank you Canada Select Windows. After a horrible experience with another window company, Dan and his crew did an amazing job and we couldn't be more pleased. We would definitely recommend Canada Select Windows to everyone.

I researched for three solid months to figure out the best option, and an economical option, to give me the feeling of a cottage in the city. I read every review there was, I spoke to sales people, and I went and saw the products out there.

I am so pleased with my choice. The glass has an anti-glare coating on it that makes it as though it's not even there. When the doors are shut, I hear nothing outside. The color of white is a warm white, as opposed to a blue white. Really nice. The doors glide so easily, which was one of the very most important things to me, as most all of us have struggled with a patio door and I wanted one that was easy to use.

I dealt with Dan, and he was a true professional through and through ... always getting back to me when he said he would, letting me know exactly what was happening and when, and promptly answering all calls. And what I had ordered and what I received where two different things .... this company went above and beyond with everything they did, and I have the most classiest, and beautiful patio doors! I highly, 100% recommend this company !

The workmanship done on the window is beautiful. The contractors were very pleasant. A very well done job. Cleaned inside and outside when the job was finished. Will highly recommend Canada Select Windows to family and friends. Was so satisfied that we ordered a new front door, which should be here in 4 weeks.

We called them for an estimate for our windows .. Dan came out who was very professional and gave us a price.
Dan was the third estimate we got and we went them. The price was very reasonable. They sent a guy out a few weeks later too install them.
