Salesman came to my elderly mother’s house and scared her into believing that her roof was a hazard. She tried to say no but he pressured her into signing the contract and giving him almost 4000 dollars. He told her that he would start the work within two weeks. 6 weeks and a snow storm happened with no word. She asked me to help her. I called and also felt bullied and pressured but insisted on a refund as no work was done or supply even ordered. The refund came—- minus 850 dollars for “restocking fees and credit card fees”.
