Move hot tub and replace cover
We bought a second hand hot tub that was located in South Surrey and needed it to be moved to Chilliwack. We contacted several different movers who agreed to do the job, however not one of them asked any questions other than when the job needed doing. We had some reservations about the movers that we had contacted so we kept looking and found this Company. I can't remember if we talked to Ray or Alastair, but they took time to find out about the scope of the job (how old is the tub, is it in a deck or freestanding, is there room to move the tub from the backyard to the front yard, do you think it requires a crane or did it need a crane to get to its current location). So we agreed to use them...they quoted a price cheaper than the "no questions asked" movers which I think was around $350. On moving day, they showed up on time, and had some kind of magic carpet that they placed the hot tub on and made it very easy to slide it from the back yard to the front yard so it could be loaded onto a hot tub moving trailer. It was then delivered to our backyard in Chilliwack. Once the hot tub was moved, they noticed what appeared to be a leak. They offered to fix it for a fee, and also told us how we could fix it if we wanted to do it ourselves...plus they told us how to "rodent or pest proof" the hot tub....and general maintenance information. We were so impressed with all the info we got for for free, we asked about replacing the hot tub cover. Alastair took some measurements and quoted us a price (I think it was $300) and we agreed to have a new one made. When the cover was ready, Alastair gave us a phone call, and delivered the cover on the agreed upon day. This was all done a year ago and the information that we got on how to fix the leak was invaluable as we fixed the leak ourselves and it is working fantastically. I would definitely use this Company again and I would definitely consider buying a used hot tub from them as they provide a one year warranty on the rebuilt hot tubs. Oh, and by the way, the hot tub cover fits perfectly.
