I purchased a home with Interlock Metal Roofing 2 years ago. I hire them to add snow rails after the second year. I was informed that I do not have a warranty. I asked about the warranty and was informed that warranty transfer must be completed within the first 2 months of title transfer. I was not informed of this during the purchase of my home. After contacting Interlock they declined to transfer the warranty. This does not sound like a company willing to support their 50 year warranty. If the second owner cannot get warranty then you should call it a 3 year warranty as this is the average time a person owns a typical home... They are trying to get out on a technicality that I was not even aware of. Do not buy this product. They will find a way not to support you as the home owner.

- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Support their 50 yr warranty. You cannot claim a 50 yr warranty if there are small technicalities that you rely on to step away from supporting your product.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Go with a less expensive roof product because you don't get the full warranty anyway...
