Genassy Construction recently completed a first-floor renovation for me, and I must say that I am very impressed with the results. They refinished the staircase, completely renovated the kitchen, installed potlights on the main floor, removed the popcorn ceiling, and painted the entire house.

The work was completed quickly and professionally. Chris and the Genassy team was attentive to detail and they went the extra mile. They were always available to answer questions and addressed any concerns I had. The attention to detail was especially impressive. Every aspect of the job was done with precision and care. I was especially impressed with the kitchen renovation. They did a great job of incorporating my ideas and making sure that the finished product was exactly what I wanted.

I would highly recommend them for any renovation project. They are professional and efficient. I am very pleased with the results and I am sure you will be too.

Genassy is a jewel of a contractor. I can't emphasize this enough with the bathroom renovation project that was assigned. It's difficult finding a contractor that respects the client work site and treats the customer with such care. Chris of Genassy specifically, demonstrates a high level of pride and enjoyment in all facets of construction/tradesman work that's required to make any project successful. They won't stop until it's done right and the good news is from a client perspective, they get it right the first time and it's delivered as per original quote/budget.

From providing design documents to project management to actual hands-on work, the choice was clear both during the sales cycle and when awarded the project that my family made the right decision. I have no regrets with the choice that I made. The final product delivered by Genassy proves how amazing and skilled they are.

Throughout the project I realized that no matter how big the project could have been or how small the task might be, dedicated customer service and attention to detail and is always over the top.

Working with Genassy Construction made me realize that there is nothing they cannot handle when it came to my home renovation bucket list. During my washroom renovation project, if a roadblock was encountered, they would find a way to correct the issue AND they would find the RIGHT way to complete the project - both on time and on budget with minimal impact/stress to the client. This was extremely important to me and very noteworthy for you considering my project had to be worked on during COVID-19.

Chris was a great help in building our linen closet. Several other companies declined to assist with our project, however Chris was happy to help and completed the work in a timely manner while keeping in touch with me throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied. He had suggestions on different options, was happy to assist with a few other small projects around the condo, and he arrived on time each day and cleaned up the work space daily before leaving. Chris was amazing. We had some damage to our kitchen ceiling that needed to be done and his attention to detail was absolutely impeccable.
He treated the job with full attention and left the house each day completely clean and tidy, we would have never known he was ever there.

My husband and I bought a new house in June 2019 and we had an overlap of owning both our current and new house. We did this so we could get some renovations out of the way prior to moving in. Genassy was hired to removed and replace the kitchen, hardwood flooring, 1 structural wall removal.

Chris was an extremely competent person to work with. We interviewed 3 construction companies prior to choosing Genassy. Chris came for the quote well dressed, on time, and with a wealth of knowledge that my husband and I truly appreciated. We felt confident relying on the information he explained to us and the order of how he would tackle the job.

From the great first impression to the end of the job, Chris and his workers were awesome! Fun to be around, and always professional keeping our house clean. My husband stopped by the house every evening to check on progress and everything was always clean.

These guys are terrific. Quick, meticulous, tidy and fairly priced. Best of all they were a breeze to communicate and work with. Very personable. I'm definitely keeping them busy on all the other projects I've got lined up around my new place!

We were in need of getting our kitchen renovated and we also wanted the window in our kitchen made bigger. We had multiple people come and quote the job and we chose Genassy after about a month of research. Chris brought with him many examples of his past work and explained the project and how it would be completed from start to finish. My wife and I really liked the professionalism and I can tell you it lasted throughout the project.

Chris had a demo crew come in to remove our old kitchen. The were in and out within a day and kept everything tidy. Chris and his guys came back the following day to remove and expand the window. We were very happy with the work.

The cabinets took the longest to install, the installer was in for about 1 week but they did an outstanding job. Everything throughout the job was well choreographed which we appreciated because living without a kitchen was rather difficult.

We love our kitchen even more than anticipated. We picked this company based on reviews so its only right to leave one for them - thank you.

I hired Genassy Construction in the summer of 2016 to build a pergola in my backyard. Chris came over to quote the job in the evening around my work schedule. He was very interested in hearing how I wanted it done and made recommendations along the way. We sat and browsed the internet for designs that I liked and what would be in my price range.

We scheduled the work to be done 2 weeks later. As others have mentioned this company is great at showing up on time. Genassy had 2 men on site. The entire project took about 1 week. At the end of every day I was shown what was done and told the next steps. The gentlemen were kind and even helped fix a broken piece of wood in the shed thats been bothering me.

The pergola came out perfect and I love it! I am so happy with the work that was done. It exceeded my expectations.

One of the contractors trucks left a bit of an oil blemish on my driveway. Chris came back in the evening about 1 weeks later to apologize and brought some oil remover. You just cant find service like this anymore. Thanks very much Genassy!

Beautiful workmanship, on time, returned all of our phone calls. My wife was given Chris' contact information from a friend of ours whom he did some work for. We wanted to renovate our master bedroom closet. Behind the closet was our laundry room, and we wanted to move the machines downstairs, knock down that wall and expand the main bedroom closet. Chris was insightful and was able to design the concept on the computer with us to design the layout of the closet.

The workers put up plastic sheeting over all the doorways to keep the dust down during the tear out. Everything was cleaned at the end of every days work. The cabinets came out beautiful and exactly how we were shown.

We will surely be calling Genassy again for future work and would recommend him if you are looking for a professional contractor!
