We needed help in legalizing a basement for our property in Oshawa.
Zhenhua was helping us throughout the whole project step-by-step for a few months, while making very good recommendations on each aspect to be as cost-efficient as possible. We can always rely on him in making sure the work was done properly and up to code. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in his work. He is easily reachable when any concerns or questions comes up and is a joy to work with.
I would highly recommend him to any of my friends/family and would love to work with him again in the future.

JW Engineers recently finished our project, which consisted of: rebuilding our front porch and supporting pillars, and parging the badly deteriorated brick wall underneath, and; tearing down our old kitchen and building a much larger kitchen extension with powder room. We are absolutely thrilled with both the finished project and the experience we had working with Zhenhua, our project manager.
Zhenhua was easily accessible throughout the entire construction period. He was onsite regularly - almost daily - always checking that the work had been done to his high standards. He clearly takes pride in the work he does. The workers were always friendly, and the work they did was exceptional. The front porch is impressive - my neighbours were beyond complimentary when they saw the finished product.
The kitchen addition on our 100-year-old house was somewhat complicated. Any unexpected problems that came up (to be expected when renovating an old house) were always considered carefully and solved. We didn't have a designer or architect to work with, so we had many questions for Zhenhua throughout the construction period. He always made time to explain things carefully to us and provide sound advice when required.
I'm sure I will be calling Zhenhua for future work and would absolutely recommend him and JW Engineers to anyone considering a home construction project.

Zenhua was our project manager. His quotation was reasonable. We didn't go with the lowest bid. He was professional, knowledgeable, tidy and very accommodating. Admittedly, we weren't the easiest clients to deal with. Nothing bothered Zenhua, he stuck to his schedule and got the job done. We love the renovation and would highly recommend his services. JW Engineers was hired to reinstall a furnace and correct duct work due to the incompetence of an installer at another company. Zhenhua, at JW Engineers, is extremely knowledgeable and took great care the job would be done well. He answered any questions I had thoroughly and thoughtfully, and I had every confidence that JW Engineers would do the job right. Zhenhua came first to examine the situation and take measurements. Lance did the actual installation a few days later, but Zhenhua came during the installation and they consulted over details together. The work was done neatly, efficiently and at a very fair price, and I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend JW Engineers for any home renovation.

We hired JW Engineers Inc to design and built our house in North York. it was an old bungalow over 60 years and now it is an amazing pretty 2-stoery house with all the functions we wanted.

We purchased an older brick home and worked on the renovations including permit approvals and finishes which completed in a year. The work was done over winter into spring and Mr. Qin was excellent to work with throughout the process. He was resourceful and considerate, and my neighbors spoke highly of his professionalism. We have been working with JW Engineers for 1 year 6 months now on our total gut renovation and 3 story home addition design build project and we are completely satisfied with their services to date.
