I hired Stefano to conduct a pre-purchase home inspection on a freehold townhouse. Stefano arrived onsite early to inspect the roof with a drone, providing FLIR and air quality testing as well. He was meticulous, courteous, and encouraged us to ask whatever questions we had. I believe one should hire an inspector before purchasing a home if one has the opportunity, despite the hot market in the GTA. The value of having an experienced set of eyes inspect your home was proven when Stefano discovered an active leak into the basement furnace, in a very awkward-to-reach and hard-to-spot location. Thanks to his keen observation, and several other defects noted in his report, we were able to negotiate with the seller who agreed to provide us with more than enough funds to cover the repairs. I am grateful for his service and would not hesitate to recommend him as an inspector with excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Stefano is an extremely detail oriented professional. We bought a new home from a reputable GTA builder, however Stefano still managed to identify many flaws and deficiencies that we may not have spotted ourselves. This allowed us to get the builder to repair the deficiencies that were identified under warranty. The fees he charges is also very reasonable for the level of detail he provides.

We needed a home inspection ASAP! Stefano booked us in for the next morning. He was so thorough! He took his time and explained everything very well. The report we received was extremely detailed. It had pictures and timelines for anything that needed fixing. I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing a home inspection. Very professional and takes his work very seriously. Stephano was amazing! I was blown away by how meticulous he was with his investigation. He even gave cautions on angles of shower doors and the showerhead direction. Everything from big things like the roof and pipes to small things like cupboards not being flushed and missing caulking. Most of all, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He's a very humble, affable and genuine individual who is an expert in his field. I even called back a few weeks later and he could not hear well when I mentioned who I was but answered my inquiry with passion and knowledge. What a sincerely lovely human being! We are new owners of a preconstruction home in the Markham area, we needed a home inspection done to uncover defects by the builder. We asked around other home owners in the community for a recommendation for a reputable house inspector and many owners hired Quantum Home Inspections for the job.
After occupancy we contacted Stefano who is the owner of Quantum home inspections for an appointment, he immediately provided his availabilities with us. Communication was great, we were even reminded of our appointment the before the inspection.
Stefano was punctual and was ready for the inspection for our 3000+sq/ft home. We were with Stefano during the inspection, we had questions and concerns along the way which was answered and addressed with professionalism.
Stefano had find many defects that we would have missed for our 30 day window to file for Tarion, which is crucial to having those defects fixed.
Above all said, Stefano even offer some tips on regular home maintenance for us and assure us if anything off concerned and how to handle them.
I would definitely hire Quantum home inspection for future jobs and highly recommend home owners or even seller to get a home inspection to see where their most important asset stand.

Stefano was in the site before time. He did a thorough inspection. He is so professional and explains everything clearly.

We recently purchased an old home (~150 yrs) with a firm offer and hadnt performed a home inspection prior to moving in. When we contacted Stefano, he responded promptly and booked us in within the same week. Stefano showed up on time and began with a thorough walk around of the property, taking copious notes and photographs documenting all of the issues he found. He used a drone to inspect our roof and gutters. Following this, he moved indoors and worked his way from the top floor to the basement. He identified structural issues, electrical issues, areas of heat loss using thermal imaging, plumbing issues, and air quality concerns. In short, he was incredibly thorough. But beyond this, he was also extremely generous with his time (>3hrs). When my mother-in-law asked for his opinion on her laneway house at the back of our property, he agreed to inspect it at no extra charge. At the end of the inspection, he sent us a detailed written report with photos and suggested next steps. He also sent links to supplemental material. Stefano did an amazing job and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Stefano is a great inspector. Our appointment was scheduled for 10am but he came early to inspect the outside of the property. Stefano was very thorough during the inspection, he was able to identify any defects not normal people can see. He also took the time to educate us about our new house and home safety especially with kids. We are very happy with his service and will recommend him to our friends and neighbours.

Stefano was punctual, friendly, efficient and very thorough when doing the home inspection. Along the way he kept me in the loop on what he found and how to fix it.
