Action Home Services

We recently used Action Home Services to do a renovation of the front of our home, including our porch, landing, steps, retaining wall, path and driveway. We highly recommend this company based on the high quality of their work and their excellent people. It was truly a pleasure to interact with them all.

From the beginning when we first met with the sales manager, Eugene to get an initial quote, we were very impressed by his level of knowledge to be able to answer all of our questions and to help us make decisions that made the overall project even better than we had initially envisioned. His honest and friendly approach and his ability to describe the project so well is what helped us to envision the project and was ultimately what convinced us to proceed with Action Home Services. Eugene was always reachable and his communication abilities were outstanding, as he always got back to us within a reasonable time frame and always followed up on what he promised. Furthermore, he took the time to support us both before we agreed to proceed with the project, and even as the project progressed and we decided to add extra scope. Our first impressions of AHS from dealing with Eugene were extremely positive and the rest of the team that followed behind him maintained that high level of support and quality throughout the entire project.

After we decided to proceed with the project, we began the design process, by meeting with the design lead, Kin to discuss what we wanted and different materials. Kin was also very knowledgeable and he presented us with many different options helping us make decisions that ultimately improved on our initial vision for this project. We worked through the design together and his final design really impressed us as it was both very beautiful and functional, by making the best use of our space but also incorporating nice touches throughout. Kin always took the time to explain things and answer all of our questions. We also really appreciated being part of his design process where he made a digital 3D model of the project so we could provide feedback on what we liked to incorporate. We can honestly say that without Kins expertise the design would not have turned out as beautiful as it did.

Next, we met with the project manager, Rinat, who really excelled in turning this design into a reality. From our first interactions with Rinat, we were really impressed with his meticulous attention to detail and ability to solve issues on the fly. He often suggested things that improved the design even further, such as adding a step between the landing and porch. Rinat provided constant support throughout the entire process and always kept us in the loop on important decisions before proceeding with any work. It was easy to tell that Rinat was very experienced with the details of the work but also could see the bigger picture. It was great to see how much trust and confidence Rinat placed in the team performing the work and as the project manager, he and the AHS team orchestrated every part of the project so well. Materials just showed up in time when they were needed, and in instances when issues came up, such as the weather not cooperating, Rinat always found an alternative solution to keep the work progressing. Furthermore, he always communicated ahead of time when he was planning to come visit the site allowing sufficient time for us to make arrangements to meet with him. We truly believe that without Rinats support and expertise this project would not have turned out so well. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Our extremely positive experience with AHS continued when we met with Enrique, Juan and Joan. These three guys were the most skilled workers we have ever seen and they truly exceeded all of our expectations. We were really happy to see their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to high quality throughout this project. Every single stone that they laid was perfect! Everything they touched turned out really beautifully!Their communication was great and as the team lead, Enrique always asked for our input and opinion on decisions regarding our preferences, and he always made sure we understood the scope of each part of the work before proceeding.
On top of all of this, Enrique, Juan and Joan were some of the nicest, most hard-working, respectful and approachable people we have ever met. They were also very considerate, making sure we always had access to our home during the entire construction phase of the project, even building a little temporary step for us to use to enter our home.
They treated our home with such great respect, we felt so lucky to have had Enrique, Juan and Joan working on our home. They cleaned the work site at the end of every day and even several of our neighbours had really positive comments about the condition of the work site.

We cannot say enough positive things about Enrique, Juan and Joan, as well as the entire AHS team, including Eugene, Rinat and Kin.

Thank you guys so much for everything! You are all such genuinely nice people and a pleasure to deal with. You all exceeded our expectations and we will happily refer AHS to anyone. We look forward to enjoying our beautiful project for years to come!
