I had a long-standing, stubborn problem with my older HVAC system that other companies had not managed to resolve.
Home Trade Standards promptly sent a technician to diagnose the issue, managed to locate an elusive replacement part, and dispatched a capable and determined technician to finally make the tricky repair.
I am sincerely impressed with the care, competence and professionalism displayed by everyone with whom I came into contact at the company. I would not hesitate to call on them for any heating and air conditioning needs.

My wife and I are new condominium owners. This is our first time to experience an HVAC problem at our rental unit. Also, it is my first time to search for a company to do the repair. I did a search on the internet prior to calling Home Stars; all we’re fully booked. I, read the feedback about Home Stars and about Kevin and called. As mentioned above being new, Kevin gave the date of availability and to answer the text he’d sent. I thought that accepting the booking was all I had to do. When I called Kevin this last Friday from the condominium ahead of the appointment time I found out that there were more things to complete on line. It was my mistake and not Home Stars and I completed the on line. Meanwhile, Kevin went the extra mile in trying to see if he had field service people available despite my error. He called me back twice and we ended up rescheduling for today (Monday). My HVAC problem at my condo was identified and fixed. I would like to point to all the people who read my message I am extremely thankful to Kevin and Home Stars for how they treat and serve their customers. I highly recommend Home Stars!

Kevin and his team were very professional from the first call. This is during the pandemic and a heat wave. I booked a company previous to his, and they didn't even show up for the appointment. Kevin took the phone call and was very courteous, knowledgable and organized in how he set up the appointment. I received emails and text messages every step of the way and he was there to answer all my questions. The technician was able to come in the very next day and install the unit. He was on time and worked through in a unit that was 90 degrees!

We are extremely happy about the service and would recommend him to any one who wants to deal with professionals!

Living in a condo with a Whalen Heating and Air Conditioning Unit, had no heat or air conditioning. Called and booked an appointment for the next day. The technician arrived the next day and had the repairs done within a half hour. They were very knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Kevin left his card with us which we have passed onto our building manager. I would definitely call these guys again if I ever experience any further problems. Great company! I live in a condo, and despite my building being only 10 years old, my air conditioning stopped working. (The fan worked, but no cold air.) I had not worked with this company before, but they were located only a few blocks away so I gave them a shot. My two technicians were Matt and Nima.

I was very impressed with their level of service. They came to my place a total of three times. The first time was a diagnostic appointment; they figured out what the problem was and what parts I needed. They came on a Friday afternoon, and they were willing to come back on Saturday morning – 16 hours later – with the necessary parts. I wasn’t available so we chose a different time. The second appointment they found that the replacement part didn’t work, and they actually needed a different, more expensive part. However, they did not charge me at all for this new part. They came a third time to install this new part – which worked perfectly – and they also topped up my Freon free of charge to make up for the inconvenience of a third appointment.

I admit that I was surprised at the cost of the parts I needed, although one of them was a new controller board (pictured) that was head-and-shoulders superior to the old board. But these guys knew what they were doing, and I believe they treated me fairly. They certainly didn't want to come over three times. I’ll be going to them for any HVAC issues in the future.

Pricing was simple and fair with no surprises. Kevin walked me through the website purchase process. Would definitely recommend them over other companies I've used in the past. Thank you.

Kevin is the guy who I spoke to; he was very informative regarding different products in the market, when I called he directed me to their website where all the products are presented. I run a daycare so I had to get the heat back on asap. I ended up replacing my furnace through their website within a day. Overall fair price, Good experience.
