During these times of supply chain issues the job was not started until all materials were on site.
Jens together with his assistants and trades made it a positive experience. Every job involving tiling should have a Max. The remodeled bathroom esthetic is perfect and designed for aging in place.
Cleanliness, punctuality and being kept informed when scheduling had to be adjusted were very much appreciated.
Would use Crosscuts again in a heartbeat.

I used CrossCuts Home Improvement for a main floor renovation project I started with another contractor but when we ran into significant issues Jens and his team came on-board and rescued my renovation. I found that Jens was timely, honest and candid when he communicated on costs, issues and options; his workmanship and attention to detail was superb; he was reliable and prompt when scheduling work and when he and his team arrived on-site. He truly cares about his clients and the outcome of their projects from a quality, cost and timeliness perspective, and works hard to organize work in a way that minimizes disruption to clients.

We had Cross Cuts managed a couple of projects for us. The owner is honest, well trained as an electrician and well meaning. We found both the experience level of the team and turnover to be a challenge in getting anything done right, at least the first time, and many things were just ok, not great. Not so shoddy that we wouldn't pay, but nothing was ever done or completed 100% to our satisfaction. Scheduling was always an issue but I can appreciate how busy contractors are these days and just the fact that they showed up at some point, puts them above many others. While the owner seems to have a competence beyond his base trade, many of the interns are learning on your $$ and the work reflects someone who is learning. Lastly, while the owner had many good suggestions and ideas, we felt too many decisions where made without our feedback or approval and we were not 100% happy with what was done but more dissatisfied that we were not given the choice or discussion in advance but then expected to pay for what was done. I think the company would benefit greatly from having a real project manager and some more seasoned trades people.

All aspects from plumbing electrical drywall and more were undertaken. He and his team have an eye for details even when you don't. Would not hesitate to recommend of hire again.
