Contractors Connect

In the Spring of 2015, we bought an old bungalow and decided to renovate the entire house (all new electrical, plumbing, walls, floors, kitchen, bathroom, insulation, etc) and used HomeStars to find
a suitable general contractor. After going through a number of qualified companies, we chose Contractors Connect.
Adrian came out to meet us and we discussed the scope of the work. Adrian's vast knowledge and helpful suggestions convinced us to use Contractors Connect for our entire project.

In less than a week we received a detailed proposal outlining the entire work packages along with the costs andtimeline required to execute the project. The project was to take 10-11 weeks, and was completed on time and on budget. There were some changes/additions along the way that were discussed and appropriately costed out and absolutely no surprises in terms of
unexpected costs or slipping timelines.

The crew were very professional and hard working with strong attention to quality and workmanship. They were absolutely a pleasure to work with and extremely hard working and dedicated.

Scope of the work included: complete demolition of the main floor of the house, basement, addition to the second floor, new plumbing, new electrical, new insulation in the attic and walls, new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and all flooring. Basically the entire house. The work also included removing some walls to create an 'open concept' style along with a new larger stair case to the basement.

As expected, with this large of a renovation, there were some issues to deal with, which were all handled in a timely and professional manner. Carby and his team were great to work with which made for a stress free renovation that basically gave us a brand new house that looks absolutely amazing. The build quality is second to none and we have received many compliments along the way. We could not be happier with results and strongly recommend the Toronto Design & Build Services team.
