Finding Knight Carpentry Inc. on Homestars was like winning the lottery because I couldn't have been any happier with the magic that Jeremy and his crew performed in our home.

Our Lux windows have fir casings, and we have a lot of them. Jeremy trimmed all the windows and our baseboards in fir with exceptional skill. He also selected fir interior doors and hung them with a perfect fit. He designed our fir fireplace mantel to achieve the "Banff" look we wanted which also complimented the window design. We have an arts and crafts bungalow and so the special attention and artisanship that Knight Carpentry took was one of the best parts of our home build. The framers made a mess of our back mudroom area and we didn't know how we would recover but Jeremy saved what would have been a disaster. He covered over the mistakes and created a "wow" factor so beautiful that only we know the mess that is behind it. There really is an art to finishing carpentry and we are so grateful for this company taking our wishes and making it happen perfectly.

I highly recommend this Knight for any carpentry work. You will not be disappointed. They show up on time, do what they say they will do and leave the area clean and tidy. They are also really nice people who I totally trusted in my house without me being there. I will be hiring Knight Carpentry again for our basement renovation and future exterior work. Jeremy really is a Knight who came to our house rescue!

Jeremy and his crew were exactly what our house needed. From the attention to detail on our many custom built in units to the 'squaring' of our many non-straight walls and doors in order to replace the trim, there isn't a single thing that they touched that we aren't happy with. I have already provided Jeremy as a reference to someone else looking to improve their home and will not hesitate to call him next year to book some time on our backyard project. Jeremy was hands down the easiest contractor I've ever hired. he went above and beyond what had to be done to make sure the job was done right the first time, and that my experience was an easy one.

I called and had spoken to a few other carpentry companies regarding this job and was told "it wasn't worth their time". However when I called Jeremy he was enthusiastic about the task and took it upon himself to get it done properly. I would highly recommend knight and their team to do any project you had, and will without a doubt be using them in the future.

We would highly recommend Jeremy and Knight Carpentry. We received several quotes for a deck rebuild. Jeremy's quote was close to the others but our first impression was very positive and we thought he would be easy to work with.

He completed the job within a reasonable time and he went above and beyond with the clean up and removal of our old deck. We are very happy with our completed deck and with the constant communication throughout the process as we had to adjust our timelines due to weather. We would recommend and would use Jeremy again for other home projects.

Jeremy was great to deal with when he came out to give the estimate for the fence and gate. While looking at the area at the back for the fence and stairs and there is a small deck he noticed the deck had dropped and recommended a couple of minor fixes. He was always prompt on emailing me back when I had questions or made a change before the project started.
Once the project started it did get delayed due to another job but Jeremy kept me informed to when he would be back and within a week the job was completed. The work that was completed was done with a excellent attention to detail.
I have received a ton of complements on the work and especially the front gate with the insert in it.
We have already talked about a project for next year and I look forward to working with him and his team again.

Jeremy at Knight was extremely easy to deal with and the cost of the project was very reasonable.

We originally had Knight out to do an estimate on replacing our backyard fences. Jeremy came, and was very knowledgeable and personable. We ended up delaying our fencing project, but as he inspired a lot of confidence after our first meeting, we had him back to give us a quote on redoing the baseboards and window and door trim on our main floor.

Dealing with Knight was very easy. The whole project was scheduled, organized and designed over email, which was extremely convenient. Jeremy was always prompt to respond and wasn't at all put off by all our questions and concerns. He addressed each one quickly and clearly, and pointed us in a very good direction with regard to design.

Despite our project being small (it was completed in just over a half-day), our emails were still answered promptly and all our questions answered very quickly.

We are absolutely thrilled with the results, and the quality of work is evident. The smallest details were considered, and the end result is very, very good. In fact, the team must have noticed that one of my doors was sticking and repaired it. A very pleasant surprise and a testament to the care they took in completing the job.

The cost was exactly as outlined in the original quote, with a couple of last-minute add-ons that Jeremy was happy to accommodate.

I would not hesitate to recommend Knight to my friends and family, and look forward to working with Jeremy and the team on some future work we have planned next year.

Fabulous job! Worked with my budget and my time, adjusted themselves to the changes I needed. Very accommodating, efficient and professional. Highly recommend them. They forgot to clean up the piles in the back though
