On Side Restoration Services Ltd.

The first time that we needed to use On Side was roughly 2 1/2 years ago, when our black water decided to back up in our basement. It wasn't horrible, but certainly not good. Our Intact Insurance broker put us in touch with On Side, and within 2 hours (Late at night, on a Saturday), there were 3 On Side representatives at the door. They spent about an hour cleaning up every speck of contamination, and were incredibly thorough in their work. Over the course of roughly 2 or 3 weeks, On Side had completely repaired all the damaged areas. My wife at this time was just starting her 8th month of pregnancy. When the baby girl arrived, it was to a sparkling clean, and re-finished home. A huge thank you to Mr. Rob Pierce for that project's completion!!

This time, about a month ago, my wife discovered some blackness in the carpet when she moved some furniture in a room downstairs that is adjacent to a finished bathroom. We were once again thrust into the nightmare of getting someone here right away to help us out with this. I know that black mold is nothing to play around with. Well, in my haste, I google searched "OnSide Restor", and picked the first match that showed up, and quickly called them. Unfortunately, to my disappointment, I somehow got connected to some different restoration place.. it seems that they paid for a google ad that put them at the top of the list. I didn't figure this out until the crew of 2 came in and did a half-hearted job at removing a small section of wall and tack strips.
Once that other company left, I made damn sure I had the correct telephone number, and called On Side. This time, a friendly voice asked how they could help, and I explained the situation. Within a couple hours, a rep came out, and because this was Friday, and everything was now dormant, we both agreed to save overtime, and start restoration on Monday.
On Monday, the crews came out, stripped the carpet, more drywall (they found more travelling contamination), and just did a much more thorough decontamination. Over approximately 2 weeks, the crews that came in and did their jobs were extremely polite, courteous, and very professional. They didn't waste any time at getting the job done. Bobby was amazing at scheduling each craft to come in and compliment the craft prior to them.
I know that I am rambling, but this needs to be said... On Side is the most professional, most courteous, and communicates extremely well.

I could have attempted (lol, yeah right) to fix all this myself, but I would still be at sage 1 of 9.
