Our home is a hundred and ten-year-old Victorian Style home. The roof was badly damaged from years of leaking from the built-in gutters that were attached to the roof. Part of the roof renovation process was the removal of these leaking gutters and repair of the water damaged roof areas. The previous owners had shingled over top of the cedar shingles, so there was a double layer of shingles that had to be removed. The whole roof had to be sheeted because, as Jody explained, there are spaces between the roof boards in older homes that would have allowed the shingles to come loose and leak. Needless to say, it was a monumental and challenging job. I estimated shingling and repairs would take weeks to complete because of the immensity of this project. Imagine my surprise when gutter removal, facia and soffit repair and shingles were installed in a timely manner. The crew worked very hard, were very courteous and left my yard cleaner than it was when they started! Jody was very knowledgeable about what our home needed and constantly kept us up to date as to progress and also construction ideas that were beneficial to the completion and look of this project. We felt confident that our home was in good hands. We would highly recommend this company for anybody looking for a basic roof repair or much more involved roof project such as ours.
