NS Carpentry is easy to recommend. But before that, let me provide some context: they did a major kitchen renovation that included the removal of two major walls, the ceiling, all the cabinets, countertops and appliances. They redid all the plumbing, electrical, venting and gas fittings.

From the first conversation, Les was upfront, plain-spoken and highly skilled. I had low expectations going in because of previous experiences with other contractors but Les was very professional and kept his team and subs on schedule and budget. They did a very nice job keeping the space clean as they worked. The speed and quality of the work was amazing and the main floor is transformed.

I've already recommended him to a friend and he will be the first guy I call when we're ready to do our next project.

With a recommendation from a close friend, we chose North Shore Carpentry and Construction for our home renos and we were not disappointed. Les and his team are highly professional and their work shows it. Great attention was given to every detail and they worked hard not only to make the finished rooms look beautiful, but function better than they had before. Quotes were given for every room and all came in on budget, except for items we added on after work had begun and they were also finished within the time frame they suggested. (two short delays for a drawer and shower glass doors that arrived with faults and needed replacing.) They were here for many weeks and always took time to clean up at the end of each day as much as could be done to minimize the disruption and while they were here, they were cheery and easy to have around. We've already told them we'll use them again and we highly recommend them!

They did a fantastic job in a difficult space and now we have a great seating bench with drawers underneath for storage. Very happy. They were quick, with excellent quality and t a great price. Highly recommend them for small or large projects.

North Shore Carpentry and Construction recently replaced our aging lounge and dining room carpets and kitchen tiles with laminate flooring - approx. 750 sq ft including 2 flights of stairs. Les and his team were very professional and provided great personal service. We are very happy with the result and will continue to employ North Shore Carpentry and Construction for our home renovation projects in future.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the work and the level of professionalism I received from Les and his team at North Shore Carpentry and Construction. From start to finish, we were kept informed of where we were at with respect to timelines, any issues that arose, and where we were at with respect to budget. There were virtually no surprises. Les and his team handled every aspect of the build from booking sub-contractors to inspections. Every day people stopped to look at our project and marvelled at what was being built. the same people kept coming back to see what was next.......The quality of the workmanship was obvious in every detail. There was nothing done halfway, they didn't take any shortcuts. They cared about the project and it shows. My neighbours said that this lane house is the nicest that they have ever seen, and that it fits our neighbourhood perfectly.
