Ian was very responsive and super friendly. He made us feel comfortable with asking questions and explained the work that would be done. He provided a quote quickly which was lower than another company we had talked to. When I was able to get a panel and wiring on my own, Ian was open to re-quoting and seemed to care about saving us money. His crew came the day the hot tub was delivered, as they knew we were excited to get it hooked up. They were friendly, very efficient and made sure that safety measures were followed. They explained their process and showed us helpful information about our new hot tub and hook up. I am extremely happy with the service provided and know that we will call Ian and his team for our future electrical needs!

I saw their truck out my window and went out to say hi, as I was having a big issue with the fan above my stove and i just couldnt trouble shoot it myself. They came right in and under 2 min had it fixed. Super nice friendly guy too. It was Ian's sidekick Dalton. What a great experience. Definitely call them if you need electrical work.

Ian was absolutely amazing! Very professional and very reliable. He kept up calm throughout the whole process and was very quick and efficient. I can’t remember how much I paid but I want to say around 1500 total.

When we bought our house the exterior garage lights were on the same circuit and switch as the mudroom lights. As I wanted to add to a little curb appeal, having the exterior garage lights on a separate timer to automate their status and reduce our energy use was ideal. Note, since I didn't want to waste electricity, I never had the exterior garage lights on because needing to have the mud room lights on too.

I reached out to McAllister's Electrical Services (MES) via the HomeStars email link and Ian responded the same evening. He came to our home the following week (due to my work schedule) to gain an understanding of the scope of work. Ian provided an estimate via email which outlined the work to be completed with a split between labour and material requirements. I was able to accept the estimate right from the email and Ian reached out to schedule the onsite work the following day.

Ian came to our home today right on time and completed the work as agreed during the site visit and noted on the estimate. The install was clean and he was very careful with all the 'stuff' I have stored in my garage. I was left very impressed with Ian, both as a professional and as a person. He is a very kind individual. He even recommended a solution to another issue I was having in the house. Needless to say, Ian will be returning soon to fix this too.

We put a one bedroom apartment over our garage for my parents with a separate electrical meter. It was a big job and it took almost a year to complete because of covid19. The job needed everything a new built house would require and even a little more since we live in a rural area. Dalton
