Patio Door Installation - Hack Job
Mark is a nice guy, says all the right things. Did not manage project. Sent 2 guys didn't speak much or no English, one very overweight that had trouble navigating my 3 floors on the hottest day and complained the whole time. I advised not to come that week but they were pushy to start despite the heat. I had to hire another contractor to finish the interior (left tape exposed, no finish) and when Mark came to get paid and saw that the door didn't close, told me I had to deal with the manufacturer directly to fix it. Very uncomfortable project that I could have had my friends do (except they did good exterior siding). Overall, very disappointed.

- Company Response
This was a very shocking and disappointing review containing many untruths.
The contract was for rough finish for the interior first taping only. I did a second coat myself as an extra.
The door manufacturer is my partner and they service the door which required an adjustment.
This adjustment was performed by the president of the window company to the customers satisfaction. The crux of the problem was this customer asked for a 5' patio door conversion then was unhappy with the opening size of 24 inches.
Sometimes you can't please a customer due to their nature and this is a prime example. I gave her a price reduction to try and make her happy even though we met all contract requirements.
Thank you for at least mentioning we did a good job with your siding
Sincerely
Mark and Christine
