They did an excellent job. The work was finished on time, they consulted with us on all aspects of the design and we are extremely happy with the results.

The first time I called Dom I was in a pinch and had to replace a large area of a sandstone patio with in a very tight schedule. He was out the next day with a quote and had the area I needed lifted and replaced within 48hrs. The craftmanship was excellent and he was truly a pleasure to work with. Since then I've used him for other work including Barbeque islands, retaining walls and walkways. Truly a top notch trades company.

Living in a double-brick century home with a field-stone foundation, I’m no stranger to masonry work. For the really big jobs there are a couple good outfits in town, but their steep three grand minimum fees make them impractical for small to medium-sized jobs. For those projects, Dominic is a lifesaver; he’ll happily quote and complete as little as a single day’s work.

The quality of his work is spectacular, and his craftsmanship and technical skills are second to none. He’s punctual and reliable, polite and thoughtful, clear and direct in his advice and recommendations, and always honors his commitments. Domenic was able to remove and re-install the mortar of an area of the house that was cracking due to some water damage. A full restore and matching of colour was done to perfection. He even went above and beyond by cleaning and re-parging the stone area in a basement window.

The work was professionally completed, matched new bricks to existing bricks. Was on time for estimates, completed job on time. Work area was cleaned up. From beginning to end the project was done right.

We hired Newport Design Build last spring to do two projects one was to make a new window opening in a very old brick house in downtown Oakville and the other was to build a new basement entrance for a renovation I was doing and we were very happy with the results on both of them and the attention to detail was evident through out the projects
They are very tidy and courteous and I would use again for any masonry needs we have in the future

We hired Newport to do our cement footpath leading from the sidewalk all the way to the backyard. It was a challenging job because it was located in our mutual driveway so it had to somewhat match our neighbour's side so we needed someone who would take care with their work and be a bit of an artist to boot. Newport seemed to fit the bill and we were impressed with the owner's credentials and professionalism. We were very happy with the results - fair price, done efficiently and looks amazing. Can't say enough good things about working with Domenic. Responsive, quality, and amazing follow up. We have an old house (1923) and repairs can be a pain. He made it painless and handled the tuck pointing, brick replacement and other masonry issues with ease. Also, he made an attractive solution happen for our downspout. Highly recommend.
