Saeed came to our house to do minor work, here and there. We needed to do some touch ups as we were selling our house. In the washroom we needed to put grout between tiles as some spots were missing it. Even though I did supply the grout he assured us that silicone is better option. So he siliconed it and mentioned that he has 20 years of experience and he provides warranty and if anything he will come back to fix it.
Upon completing the work we had to guide him through and point out to specific areas he would pretend he didn't notice the problem at. 3 months later we have mold appeared under the silicone . We sent the pictures to Saeed. Not receiving any reply, we've decided to call. Saeed has refused to come back, saying that we are supposed to clean our shower and that it is not his problem.
Well, there is no way to clean it as the mold grows under the silicone.
He didn't bother to sweep out the grout residue and the area wasn't dried up upon applying the silicon , and we that is where the mold comes from.
Please stay away from "professionals" like that

5 month ago I did their job.They told me after finishing ceiling job grout is missing could you do. I got $100 to do it.After finishing that . I told her next time do silicone.She said could you please do silicone on tup of the bottom corners . I did it. I mentioned them there is not ceiling fan in this bathroom. It get mold and ceiling paint will get piled of again.Anyway They called me after 10 days come grout is different colour please come change it. I go fix it.now after 5 months they are telling me it is little black mold on the corner come change the silicone again.How many warranty $100 silicone job has .
