Our year old hot water tank was leaking from the exhaust tubing. After calling in the installer of the tank and having pressure tests done, we were able to find out that the pressure in our house was too high and that our main pressure relief valve was not working. We contacted Roy at Protex and he was able to accommodate us the next day and had the job in no time! He also did a great job explaining to me how the system works so I could understand what was happening to cause the leak. Thanks Roy!

Roy provided excellent and highly professional service. He was kind and knowledgable and was so quick to accommodate my schedule so that i did not have to miss work. He has a warm and friendly yet personable manner and knows his business. The job was done so quickly and conveniently. I would definately use his service again.

I used Protex Plumbing twice this past year and they are my new favourite plumbing company. First time Dave came to deal with a clogged sink drain. Second time Roy came to deal with a sewage backup. Both were responsive, professional, courteous and extremely helpful in sharing their knowledge and answering my questions. Roy also made a point of explaining to the basement tenants NOT to flush tampons or 'flushable wipes' after finding evidence of this stuff blocking the drain and causing the backup.

Roy cost a little bit more but worth every penny. He showed up on time and prepared. Was able to complete the job in a timely fashion. Most of all the job was left clean, which is a major issues with sub trades.

I called Protex because my kitchen sink was running very slowly, and I could not unclog it myself. Roy gave me a quote over the phone and then came to the house promptly. Roy was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He unclogged my sink with no fuss, no mess. He also noticed my faucet was leaking and replaced a washer for free. I will definitely call Protex again when I need a plumber.

We just completed a full basement renovation which included the installation of a bathroom with a shower, back flow valve and moving other plumbing around for the laundry room.

Over the last 2 months, Roy and his team did a great job and were very quick with their interventions when they were required. Overall they were very professional and did an excellent job.

Roy was very professional to deal with both on the phone and in person. The job went very efficiently with quality work and he informed me of exactly what he was doing.

He came to our house, scratched his head, talked to us for over an hour about nothing, sat in his car for another 20 minutes and charged us $225. We have no idea what the leak is from or what we might do about it. Total BS.

My first call was a Saturday with the well pump not working. Roy got us a service call within a few hours that same day. When he identified the problem the next challenge was finding the part on a Saturday afternoon. Dave went a long way to get that part and was back in no time to fix the problem. Our second call was for the Effluent Pump a few days later. Similarly - service call was scheduled to fit our convenience. Dave does great work - solves the problem efficiently and made sure we understood what it was that he was doing and why.
These guys are the best. Will always call them first as I know they will show up and fix the issue ASAP.
