Miller & Spence Landscaping No Longer In Business

M&S' written quotation was competitive with the others I received. What convinced me to hire them was the professionalism they displayed from the first phone call to the final handshake. Aaron gave me some great information over the phone without me having to ask, and then Matt spent over an hour on a Sunday morning surveying the ground, carefully assessing the problem, and then offering some great ideas to fix it all up. Working alone, the two of them installed over 9,000 lbs of crushed stone in one day, and then even more the next day, all during a week- long heatwave (~40 deg), and they still finished ahead of schedule! That alone is impressive. But also the drainage ditch and concealed down spout extension is working great, and the patio is flawless. So all in all, it was a job well done.

We used Miller & Spence for installation of our backyard patio.  Foremost, we were impressed with how professional and pleasant both Aaron and Matt are.  Aaron thoroughly explained the steps of the installation and made helpful suggestions as needed.  We really appreciate that the work was completed exactly within the estimated timeframe and the final amount due was the same as what was quoted.  The patio has turned out better than we expected and without question we would recommend using Miller & Spence.

They got rid of the "builders cheapy" patio slabs, put down some awesome interlock, built a shade providing pergola and put in two great looking gardens. They were quick, polite and very creative. Give these guys a call!

My wife and I wanted a patio for our backyard and met with several landscapers to help design and quote on the work. We called Matt and he came out the next day for a preliminary meeting. His insight impressed us right away and he took the time to really determine our needs. After going through a couple of scope changes we settled on our final design. Matt made several suggestions on what he thought would fit in with our vision and the final product exceeded our expectations. Importantly, he kept the work site very clean and orderly. The work started and finished on time and they stayed on site for the entire length of the project. We will be hiring Miller and Spence again for our next project and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
