We were very nervous for our first ever renovation experience, which included a full bathroom redo as well as some other updates to our 1930's bungalow. From our first meeting with Brian and Susanna, we were put so much more at ease. They were trustworthy, approachable and fun to work with. They helped us craft the vision for our house and make good choices around the renovation. The trades they hired were excellent and they stuck to the schedule. Brian was meticulous in ensuring the new renovations blended seamlessly with the original character of our house, something that was very important to us. Our new bathroom is now our favorite room in the house....we only wonder why we didn't do it sooner!

Westrock Custom Homes was contracted to help us update our 1970's production home located on a terrific lot in a great neighbourhood. After careful and patient discussions, the homeowners decided to completely remove the old house for resale, and then to build brand new on the same lot, but expanded in floor space. The contractor was involved in every stage of construction, ensuring that we got first grade materials and sub-trades. He ensured the site was secure and always cleaned up at end of day. We felt that we were in control and consulted throughout the process. The result was a home that is solid, attractive, warm to live in, very modern in all features, finished to A-1 quality and one that will be part of us for decades to come. My wife and I renovated our kitchen and bedroom over the winter of 2015. My wife was due to have a baby at the beginning of March so we had a hard deadline to complete the work. Brian and Susanna made a thorough assessment of the scope of work and were able to commit to getting the job done in time. Work was finished a week ahead of schedule despite having to juggle the schedules of several trades.

The Westrock model provides a great deal of peace of mind with respect to project costs as there are no "black boxes" involved. All quotes are shared with clients, who then have the ability to select specific trades and alter scope of work to suit budget. All work on our job was completed on-budget. At times, Westrock are able secure discounts on products and services that make the "cost-plus" price equivalent to purchasing products and services yourself.

Brian and Susanna really went above and beyond for us. Susanna spent a lot of time with my wife picking out materials and finishes and Brian helped with appliance install which turned out to be more difficult than I expected.

We were very happy with Westrock, and have already recommended them to friends and relatives. We would use them for future work on our home without hesitation.

From our first meeting with Brian we had a good feeling which persisted through subsequent meetings right to the completion of our major home renovation. We always felt our trust was well placed.

We were very nervous hiring someone to help us with our renovation because of all the horror stories you hear. We cannot say enough how impressed and relieved we were with the quality of Brian's work, understanding, patience, and overall attention to detail. He was here EVERY day making sure the project was running smoothly, that we were happy, that the trades work was up to par and that our house was kept clean and tidy. Brian did not overextend himself between several large projects so we always felt like we were his number one priority. We always felt like we were getting top-notch trades in because of Brian's extensive network of reliable workers and his reputation as a fair and honest contractor. Even as our project came to an end, Brian was available for questions and comments. We always felt like our opinions were heard and valid.
