Aquata Bathroom Renovations

I had Peter and Nick fix a previous reno error in my basement bathroom earlier this year. When the original reno was done in 2014, the framer/drywaller tightly wrapped the house's mainstack and installed a tiny access panel. The lack of proper access always bothered me.

So...Peter and I spent a few mins on the phone discussing ideas/measurements etc, and a few days later he arrived with a custom panel and frame that he and Nick installed in a few hours.

It was the exact fix I was after......couldn't be happier.

Aquata Bathroom Renovations renovated 2 bathrooms for us. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the manner in which both Peter and Nick approached their work.

There are so many positive things I could say about about Aquata. They go through great lengths to keep your house as dust-free as possible, setting up special filters and a fan to draw dust out the window. All furniture is also covered with plastic to protect from dust. At the end of each workday, Nick meticulously vacuums the path from the renovation area to the front door and then gets down on his knees and wipes it down with a cloth! They also fully protect their workspace, covering floors with floor protector and wooden boards preventing damage.

Peter is a very approachable person who is always open to addressing any concerns I have. He has an extraordinary attention to detail and you can tell that he really takes pride in his work. As such, I feel comfortable with leaving him to work on my home because I know that he values a great result as much as I do.

My husband and I highly recommend Aquata and would definitely hire them again for future renovations.

This is our second master bathroom we have had Peter renovate for us in the past 5 years. Aquata provides exceptional craftsmanship at very reasonable prices. We immediately ran into problems (including flooding) and a lot of contractors would have walked away but Peter went above and beyond for us. From first introduction to job completion it was all a great experience! Peter was extremely detailed with his work, thorough in explaining all aspects of the process, and diligent in managing timelines. We recently discovered some damage to the hot water pipe coming out of our water tank, and decided to reach out to Peter since we had such a great experience with him during our bathroom remodel. When he came by to inspect the damage, he also inquired about the bathroom and if there were any touch-ups that we'd like him to take care of. We took him up on the offer and had him re-caulk the toilet, replace the shower door seals and adjust the shower door hinges a little bit. As with our previous experience with Peter, it was obvious that he cares about the quality of his work and that he leaves a good impression on his clients.

While he was doing the work, I also asked him about a leak we had just discovered in one of our drain pipes in the basement. Fixing this was outside the scope of work, but Peter still offered some insight as to what the problem was and how the pipe could be repaired. This is one of the reasons we went back to Peter for this job: he'll happily give you answers and explanations (when he knows the answers -- he won't try to tell you about things he isn't certain of himself) and let you decide what you want to do with that information.

Peter is definitely going to stay on our list of contacts, and we'll always reach out to him if we have a job that needs doing. We know that he'll only take on jobs that he knows he can do well, and will provide advice or recommendations otherwise to guide us toward a solution.
