Bathroom Renovation

I ordered a claw foot tub from York Taps when I was renovating my ensuite about a year ago. It was delivered on time and packaged well. But during installation I suspect my contractor dropped something in the tub and scratched it in a few different places. i contacted the company saying I needed someone to buff it out. Without hesitating they told me they were too busy. Lousy customer service. They couldn't even refer me to someone. I ended up finding someone on my own and that part was taken care of. As my plumber was installing the tub, the drain part, which they told me was $250 but sold it to me for $150, broke. I contacted the company and told them what happened. The owner assured me he would send me a replacement part. i went back and forth with him through email for a couple months before he said they were coming in during the second week of January. As you can probably guess by now, we went back and forth for another 6 months with him giving me the same song and dance as before. Eventually I Googled the part and managed to buy it online through a company that deals with parts from China. The same drain part they sell for $250 cost me $15!! That is one ridiculous markup! This company is not interested in repeat business and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Their prices may be reasonable but BUYER BEWARE. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. You can get deals on Wayfair.ca and their customer service is the best I've ever had in my life. I'm giving this horrible company 1 star because at least the tub is pretty.

Terrible place!! Avoid at all cost!! Dishonest!!!!

Sold faulty toilet!! I had to pay the blumber $500 out of the pocket as he tried to fix the issue. The place did not care and I hardly was able to get a refund for the toilet. They did not want to admit the product was faulty. The owner threw the receipt at my husbands face and said to get of the store. I had to threaten to call the cops to get them to take the toilet back!!! Never again!! I heard lots of bad stuff from the plumber about this place but didn't believe it until I saw the true nature of the owners!! Stay away and save your money!! Not worth it!! Lots of good places to shop for bathroom renos in Richmond Hill area!!!

Tub faucet broke

I bought a tub faucet, a shower column, and a tub at York Taps earlier. Service wasn't good as nobody asked me if I needed any help after I walked inside. The tub faucet wasn't in stock so they had to order it for me and they said they would call when the faucet is ready for pick up. After 2 weeks of waiting and no words from them so I called the store and the staff said it's ready for pick up already. Also the quality of the tub faucet was inferior. It broke when my contractor was installing it when it's never been used.
