We recently were looking to replace our older fireplace with a more modern unit. The cost was prohibitive and a number of retrofits would be required. I called Jeff who took the time to talk me through various options. He was patient and attentive. He came out, took the unit apart and cleaned it. It looks brand new. He saved me thousands because he was honest and confirmed the unit was in great working order. If you want an honest person who does awesome work, call Jeff . We have a gas fireplace that is 8 years old, and it simply stopped working, so I searched on Homestars and based on other reviews, reached out to True Flame. Jeff was able to schedule us quickly, which we appreciated, arrived on time as scheduled, and was able to get the fireplace working again within an hour.

What we really appreciated was that Jeff gave us a lot of great tips on how to keep the fireplace free from future issues, gave us lots of instructions on the new remote / system to start the fireplace, and was really professional and easy to work with. Service was 10 out of 10.

If we ever have any future issues with our fireplace, we would definitely call Jeff again, and would absolutely recommend him highly.

We have a 5 year old fireplace that stopped working. Jeff responded quickly and arrived when he said.
The job was complex and tricky but he persevered and kept me up to date on costs, including telling me he made calls to the manufacturer, etc.
He apologized for the costs but most of it was parts.
I was not home while the work was being done, but when I got home I found a very detailed report. More importantly the fireplace works perfectly and has NEVER looked better. - gleaming glass, clean work space and perfect function.

Jeff was very friendly and professional. He was punctual. He took off his shoes and had a large work mat where he placed his tools down. He took the time to explain his decisions. Unfortunately, the DFC board failed and was not opening the pilot gas valve. It was expensive, but required replacement. He also conducted some maintenance to improve the fireplace aesthetics. He spent time going over basic maintenance too. I would definitely hire Jeff again. Thanks!

Messaged company with work requesting appointment Thursday night. Scheduled service for following Monday AM. Jeff arrived a few minutes before appointment time. Very personably answered my questions, and explained all additional important information so it was easily understandable.
First unit would not light for me. After inspection and cleaning- working well. Second unit was working okay, after cleaning, unit performance was noticeably improved. Very happy overall and will surely call back for future service needs. Thank you Jeff
