Unfortunately our experience with Helpling has been awful. On the first cleaning appointment, the cleaner put a dent in our wall AND broke a vase sitting on our coffee table. The cleaner explained that the dent was made by one of the bar stools at our kitchen island (several feet away from the dented wall) and that the vase was knocked off of the coffee table. This is a reflection of the poor care that is taken by Helpling's cleaners when they enter your home.
The cleaning appointment occurred over two weeks ago and Helpling hasn't been able to reimburse us for the damages and they still charged us for the cleaning. Each time we've spoken to a Helpling representative we've been given a different story: on one call they suggested that they could reimburse us for the damages out of pocket and in another they insisted this must go through their insurance. It feels like they are giving us the runaround and I worry we will never be reimbursed. I do not recommend Helpling for your cleaning services.

Hi Jennifer!
We're sorry that Graham and you do not feel that we have been helpful. Unfortunately, as this has been the only somewhat-material accident that has occurred across thousands of jobs, we were uncertain of the resolution time from our insurance company. We filed the claim immediately upon receipt of your cleaning partner's and Graham's forms, and as communicated yesterday (only 2.5 weeks later), through our insurance company, we are happy to reimburse you for the damages upon submission of receipts.
Your cleaning partner and Helpling are sorry this accident occurred and we're sorry that we were unable to resolve this situation as quickly as you would have liked. If you decide to book again, we will be happy to honour the voucher we offered Graham and you. Thank you!
