New furnace - replaced old one
Dmitri originally came to repair our 12-year old Maytag furnace, which wouldn't start. He replaced the motherboard but then an old problem that we thought was fixed by another company resurfaced! This was a recurring problem a year or two ago, where my parents had called a variety of repairmen (including the original installer). Anyways, I didn't want to potential deal with subsequent parts failing every few years after this new issue was fixed and ultimately decided to replace our furnace. Dmitri was always pleasant, amazingly patient and courteous through the whole process. He offered to credit me back the money we spent on the motherboard replacement job towards a new furnace if we went with him before I even asked. I thought his quote sounded reasonable and agreed on the spot BUT then the next day I feared that I would regret it if I didn't check other quotes and called him back to hold. Dmitri encouraged me to seek out other quotes and confidently assured me that I would be back.
He was right, and I am so happy that I did!! Dmitri corrected a barrage of issues besides just installing the new furnace (we went with Trane S92V2). Our old furnace had two black pipes (see pic 1) that was installed with the Maytag high efficiency furnace which was a couple of inches of obstruction in the ceiling. Instead of simply following the old path, Dmitri hid away the new white pipes, which uncluttered the room significantly (pic 2). A pump was installed so that we didn't have a hose leading to the drain across the floor to trip over, a new filter system was installed and a new liner on top of the hot water tank was needed to bring it up to code. Dmitri walked me through his work and advised on future maintenance. His customer service is incredible! It was such a pleasure dealing with him.
Note: Dmitri said that the job would be completed in a single day and we wanted this to be resolved as quickly and smoothly as possible PLUS we had reservations about installing in Winter. The installation day happened to be one of the coldest days and the work couldn't be completely finished. Our house had heat before he left to respond to an emergency heat call and the last few things were completed a few days after. Even though we didn't find any fault with his work ethic or priority setting, without me even saying anything, he acknowledged his original promise to complete the job in a single day and gave us an additional discount to "make us feel better" and "for our patience". Yes, we are 100% happy, satisfied customers. Thank you, Dmitri and thank you Heatmaster Services!!!

For the record, the word "picky" was never brought up in any of our mutual interactions whether it be online, phone or verbally :) . If I may share, you're a loving daughter trying to help your parents by being the voice of the family and steering them clear of previously made mistakes with another HVAC company.
