Bin rentals to clear out home for sale
Cost was great. Good value and fair pricing. Rented 2 bins (same size) and they got delivered without too much hassle. (Would have preferred a more precise delivery time on bin #1 but we managed through it and lesson learned for bin #2.) What wasn't great was the bin pick up process. You call a number, choose option 2 to leave a message with pickup details and then expect the bin to be picked up. Well, not so fast. Apparently the company doesn't get those messages?!?! Left 2 messages for bin 1 and 4 messages for bin 2 with no pickups. Had to track down a live body to arrange pickup. Not the end of the world by any stretch but when you're renting a bin for a week, I would kind of expect that they'd want the bin back after a week. Note - I wasn't charged for extra days. I'm guessing demand for the size of bin (30 yard) I used is lower.
And if you're offering a pick up message service, maybe pick up those messages? At the end of day, good value. Just be prepared for communication issues. These are "bin guys" after all so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised.
