Early Monday morning our furnace was making a loud whinning sound. I called Direct Energy's 800 number at 7:30 a.m. expecting to get a recorded message, but to my surprise I was greeted by a real voice. The operator booked an appointment that morning for a service tecnician. The tecnician was at my house within 3 hours and had the problem fixed within an hour. Both the operator and the technician were very professional, and made me feel like I was important. I had been quite sick and that morning it was -16 degree's outside. Not the best time for your furnace to break down. Thank you to the staff at Direct Energy, you were great. Mike
