We retained Detailed Works based on a referral from a neighbourto do a full cosmetic renovation of our main floor and new kitchen. We did lots of shopping around and liked Jonathan and Cindy's approach from the onset of the project. Costing came in basically where we had hoped and we never felt we were being pushed or pursuaded into extra work at the design stage. From the beginning of the job Detailed Works 'did what they said they would do', and anyone that has done a renovation knows this simple gesture is hard to do for many contractors. All the trades were lined up efficiently with very minimal lag-time between jobs. All the sub-trades were friendly, punctual and did top notch work. The trades all said they like working with Detailed Works, and to me a referral from a trade is almost as good as a referral from a customer.
Detailed Works clearly has lomg-term customer satisfaction as a cornerstone to their business.
Our renovation took more or less the amount of time they said and I would be exagerating if I said everything was perfect and stress-free but in retrospect and in hearing others horror stories I think we really lucked out. We hired another trade (outside of Detailed Works scope) and it has been an absolute disaster. Now, our kitchen and main floor look spectacular. Highly recommend Detailed Works.
